What an amazing place with incredible owners! A piece of Heaven with spectacular views across the Gulf of America. We will definitely return to this location again in the near future. It is perfectly situated with so many great restaurants within walking distance. The Caddy's just right across the street makes this location truly amazing. The owners were very responsive and the communications were excellent! A must stay if you are planning to be in this area. TY again!

Perfect beach condo. The unit was very clean and well equipped. The owners were great, they were very communicative and on top of things. Location was great, right on the ocean with great restaurants within walking distance.

The condo was as pictured and described. The updated unit is very nice. The only drawback was that one of the two elevators was being replaced so it was often difficult to get the elevator. Being on the 10th floor, going up the stairs carrying beach chairs, groceries, luggage, etc. was not an option. This is no fault of the owners of the unit, however. I gave the check-in and communication 4 stars only because I didn't receive the emails until after I messaged and had them resent. Not sure what caused this issue. However, since I didn't receive the email until the day of check-in, I did not have the parking pass printed. The owners were MORE than helpful in remedying the situation and worked with us to email it to a local UPS store or Staples for us to print. Overall, I would highly recommend this property and owners for your visit to Indian Shores.

Ian was an absolute rockstar host with top-tier communication, flexibility on check-in/out times that we deeply appreciated, and a condo so pristine and well-stocked it felt like home... if home came with endless ocean views. This honestly goes down as one of our best family vacations to date, largely thanks to the perfect location, the incredible balcony, and having beach chair rentals literally steps from the door. Listing photos don't do it justice; the actual balcony furniture is way better than pictured! Between the daily dolphin sightings, a never-ending list of local activities, and an overall amazing experience, we’re already plotting our return.

Exceptional! The condo is nicely furnished wtih a lot of added little touches. It was a nice bonus to have a nicely stocked kitchen complete with spices, coffee, tea, sugar, etc. Parking was easy and convenient right in front of the entrance. The hosts provided great general information on local restaurants and activities.

We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront condo. The location is perfect, the unit is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the views are amazing. The condo had just about everything we needed to be comfortable. The balcony was a great place to sit and have coffee or watch the sunset. All the check-in and check-out info was communicated early through email, and the cleaning person stopped by once to check and see if we needed anything else. We had a wonderful week!

Family beach vacation

Condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Guest parking was very difficult as a couple of the units took more than the allotted 1 guest spot. One unit took 3 guest spots and their assigned spot . Hopefully it was just due to holiday week and not a normal taking.We had a wonderful vacation! Thank you!

Ian and Michelle were wonderful hosts, and the condo exceeded our expectations—it was absolutely perfect. The view from the balcony was stunning, and the thoughtful extras like spices, beach towels, beach chairs, and local recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. Perfect Views

This condo was absolutely wonderful. Clean and beautiful. It had everything you could’ve needed for a week, or longer stay available. The Owners are very easy to communicate with and made the booking and check-in process smooth. The sunsets from the balcony as just stunning. Being so close to the beach was so convenient. Great Condo in Great Beachfront Location!

We had a wonderful week at this property! The condo is very well maintained, and the location of the property is so convenient to restaurants. Ian was incredibly responsive both before and during our stay! They were making significant improvements to the pool and grilling area outside Sandcastle 1, which will only enhance the experience. Highly recommend!

Sandcastle 1

The building is desperately in need of a makeover, very tatty and one of the two lifts was frequently out of order which is not ideal when you are located on 10th floor! Hot tub was too hot to get in. Apartment was ok, but not particularly clean and the smallest bedroom was stiflingly hot even with air con. Rooms backing on intercoastal had a lot of traffic noise.

Building is undergoing a 2M/18 month reno starting in August but both of our units are totally renovated inside. Never had any issues with the hot tub, it is 104 which is the norm, pool is 85. Both have new heaters. Back bedroom windows will be replaced with building reno which will fix any issues with back bedroom noise (although first time anyone has mentioned it in 14 years, we are on the 10th floor?). Only noise from front primary bedroom is the ocean surf :) Refunded cleaning fee to guests who claimed they cleaned floors, but mop was never used, new still in plastic.

Stairway work & Dust / Elevator Issues

Love the condo and everything it has to offer. The only thing was they are working on the stairs and the noise was loud early morning throughout the day. The first bedroom was where it was extremely loud woke up our son every day. The dust from the work was everywhere, we had to cover our faces when entering and exiting the condo because the dust was so bad. One of the two elevators was constantly breaking down. The tiles getting into the elevator are all broken, and after 11:00 pm the cockroaches were all over by the elevators. My husband killed like 7-8 there were another 5-6 climbing all over. All these things listed above are issues with the building not the unit we stayed in. This was our third time staying at Sandcastle #1 and we will definitely come back next year. We heard they are going to be working and repairing the building later this year, so we are confident most if the issues we experienced will be addressed and corrected.

Some work has begun in the stairwells which has wrapped up for now, sorry it was a bother. The palmetto bugs around the trash chute/elevator you noted have been dealt with. Christmas in Florida with family

This property is exactly as listed. It is clean and well-appointed. Had everything we needed to cook and spend time together. The dryer takes forever to dry towels. Would stay again.

Beautiful views

We were on the tenth floor beautiful view of the beach and backbay, private beach. Very reasonably priced clean washer and dryer full kitchen my wife and i enjoyed it very much.
