Tahoe Vacation

Great house, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Perfect for two adult couples with kids. The girls loved the bunk beds. We enjoyed the forest views, creek behind the house, feeding the Stellar blue jays and great deck to enjoy the mornings and evenings listening to nature. We enjoyed the convenience of proximity to both Truckee and Tahoe. We would return! Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic family retreat in the mountains

We had a wonderful stay in Olympic Valley with our 2-year old and my parents. The house was well-equipped and perfectly set up for our family. Our son loved the foosball table, the deck, the creek, and the toys (snowball fight with cotton snowballs was so much fun). The hot tub and access to Olympic Valley trails was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the great stay!

Great family weekend

We came up from San Francisco with visitors from Florida. Showing them Tahoe with this home as a base was wonderful. I really enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck listening to the stellar jays. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well stocked. The host was very responsive over text.

Great cabin

The cabin was wonderfully stocked. The host was quick To respond. Location was awesome. It was very comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful even in the summer The creek and deck were a big selling point, but we weren’t able to use them much because of all the mosquitoes. The biggest problem was we needed the doors open because of the heat, but all the screens had holes in them so bugs would get into the cabin. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

Magical Place!

The home is amazing! We loved our time here, and I would definitely stay here again. It is such a cozy space, and the property is in such a great location. I loved all the stuffed animal bears in the den. Hot tub and cold creek were a huge plus as well!

alternative to nearby hotel.

7 of us stayed while attending a wedding weekend at the nearby hotel. The kitchen was well equipped for our breakfasts. The washing machine and dryer was next to the bathroom, so we could have clean towels daily. The stream just outside the back porch and living room made for a bucolic view.

Great spot near palisades

We stayed here with eight people for a ski weekend. Convenient location and very comfortable accomodations. Highly recommended!

Great location and comfortable home

The location was perfect for us as we were skiing several different mountains in the area and not just Palisades. Close to the highway, but quiet neighborhood and just far enough from Palisades to avoid the heavy traffic. The home itself had everything you need…with the private hot tub and wood burning fireplace perfect treats after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was well appointed and the bedrooms comfortable. There were plenty of towels and the bathrooms had heated floors, which was a nice touch. Communication with the owner was thorough, prompt, and helpful with local restaurant ideas. Not only would I highly recommend it, I plan to stay here again the next time we ski Tahoe.

Great location and beautiful home

Linda was an excellent host. Linda was quick to respond to my questions and concerns. She provided clear instructions and the home was clean upon check in. Property details are accurate and was perfect for my large group to stay at. Location was perfect for my snowboarding trip and a free shuttle is available to pick up and drop off at property.

Unbeatable Location

The location is amazing if you are visiting to ski at Palisades. The hot tub was easy to use and a great addition. Lots of space for parking. We enjoyed the little games and DVDs. Would definitely be back.

Great property

Linda’s place is great and in an amazing location close to Palasades Tahoe. It has an amazing living room and the wood burning fireplace was perfect. Stayed with family and friends and the kids were were happy with the place. Also, the mountaineer shuttle is a great option to get around the Valley. The communication with Linda was great and prompt. Wil definitely come back to stay here.

Perfect Tahoe Stay

We loved staying at this cabin! Big highlight is the beautiful great room windows looking out over the creek. Very peaceful property. We loved the hot tub while listening to the creek. We visited with our two young children and the house was great for even our little one (19 months) navigating down the living room steps. The host is wonderful and we have already shared the listing with friends. Great find!

Beautiful cozy cabin feel home nestled in the woods with a beautiful stream in back.

Creek views!

Great place for a family get away in a beautiful setting. The home is cozy and clean, and the large dining table is a great place to gather for family meals! Spent a lot of time outside on the wonderful deck enjoying the surrounding ambiance. Inside, the large windows bring the outside in, making for a magical treehouse feel. We really enjoyed our visit to this lovely creek side home, and would love to stay again!

Our new favorite house rental near the Palisades base.

We booked this home a bit last-minute, as my brother and his wife and my family wanted to do a mini reunion and ski. Of all the homes and condos we have rented close to the base, this house is absolutely been the best. I don't even want to let the secret out! Why it's amazing: - 1 mile from the base parking lot. - Cozy chalet style home. Feels homey but has amazing stone floors (heated in a bathroom!) and vaulted ceilings. There are blankets everywhere. There's a wall of windows overlooking the river and complete privacy. Both couples had plenty of space, and the kids had the bunk room. There are plugs everywhere. AND the owner is kind? I am so impressed and I'll be back if Linda isn't booked wall to wall! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Lovely winter getaway and great house

The property is really well presented with high quality kitchen and other inclusions. The location is idyllic by a babbling brook, and we also enjoyed the hot tub in the snow (there was so much recent snow we had to shovel the pathway to get to it!). Easy to get to the ski lifts with a 5 minute drive. Overall a great winter getaway experience.
