We had a good stay here for 3 days. Rae the host is very friendly, helpful and responsive. However, if you are the kind of traveler who wants a lot of privacy, please consider that the suite is right below where the host lives.The property is well located and a short drive away from many beaches and the Gibsons Landing area. It is comfortable and cozy and our two young boys, 12 and 8, love that there is a pool table in the suite. However, the only windows in this suite face the sides of the property so there isn't much natural light.

Enjoyed our two-night stay at Rae's place. It's a cute suite with unique décor in a lovely rural setting that's still conveniently close to shopping, restaurants, and the ocean. Rae lives upstairs and was quick to respond if we had questions. When we mentioned we'd be using the BBQ one evening, he even preheated it for us.A few things that may be helpful for future guests to know: the suite has a kitchenette rather than a full kitchen. Rae has equipped it well with a variety of appliances, making it possible to prepare meals if you wish. There are two countertop convection hot plates instead of a full stove, and while the counter space is limited, we found it workable.The large shower has lots of different spray options - we didn't get a chance to try the steam feature. Hand soap and dish soap were provided, but you'll want to bring your own shampoo.The bed is very soft, so guests who prefer or require a firmer mattress for back support may want to keep that in mind. The sofa cushions are also on the softer side.As this is a lower-level suite, you'll occasionally hear footsteps, music, or conversation from upstairs. That said, Rae was conscientious about any noise when he knew we were there and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns.Parking wasn't immediately obvious to us, but Rae quickly clarified it. You park lengthwise beside the portable shelter rather than perpendicular to it, as we initially did upon arrival. We enjoyed our getaway.

Just as described and pictured. Absolutely silent, comfortable bedroom for excellent sleep. Small kitchen area ingeniously stocked and set up functions as one surprisingly bigger (though don't get me wrong; it's still not intended for a crowd!!). Cavelike cosiness with all blinds shut, but for light, all rooms have good windows, and while I didn't use the pool table, the space it needed meant that the "cosiness" was spacious and didn't feel closed in. The lovely, spacious patio just outside felt very private, and though others live in the 2 other units onsite, I hardly saw anyone. A truly lovely setting in Gibsons. Host was very helpful and accommodating in booking, gave excellent directions and check-in instructions, and was also friendly when met on-site. Thanks, Rae!

Loved the location and the amenities. Very relaxing for us. We were in the area for a clients 90th birthday celebration so the location was perfect and it was a nice and quiet place to come back to, to relax. Rae had us cracking up as well. Great host!!

We had such an amazingly peaceful and relaxing stay! Cozy had everything we needed or could possibly ask for! Loved the vibe! Pool table was essential The shower was an incredible highlight. Location is absolutely stunning with beautiful lush foliage. Rae was a great host and was so helpful with any questions or needs. Will definitely return!

I had a lovely two-night stay here with my fiancée. The pool table was a highlight and we spent loads of time enjoying it. The bed was comfortable, and overall the space felt private and relaxing. Ray was a great host - very accommodating and set out the barbecue for us, which worked perfectly. Check-in and check-out were easy. We genuinely didn’t have any issues during our stay. The only small note is that the check-out instructions mention putting dishes in the dishwasher, but we couldn’t locate one. It wasn’t a problem at all. We just washed everything ourselves, but it might be worth updating the instructions to avoid confusion. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend it!

Great location and our granddaughter loved coming over to play pool. Discovered a bit about myself - while I love nesting and being cozy at home I need more light. Having said that we did sleep in without guilt as it was quiet and cozy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in this one-bedroom suite. Although technically in Gibsons, we felt like we were in the middle of the forest and more like in Roberts Creek - the grounds are peaceful and beautiful. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen set-up contained enough equipment for creating and BBQing simple meals, including mini-fridge with small freezer compartment that worked to keep our ice packs frozen, a portable induction element, microwave, and toaster oven. We enjoyed being able to watch our own shows from home in the evening on the big smart TV. The queen bed was comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of plugs for charging our devices. Loved the walk out to the patio and propane grill. Lovely to sit and listen to the birds with a glass of wine.   We recommend this accommodation and hope it will be available on our next trip to the Sunshine Coast.

Great weekend

Myself and my brother had a wonderful time at Rae’s suite. He met us outside the property and showed us the place. Rae is very friendly and a great host. Location is good and it’s nice and quiet. We loved the pool table. Definitely recommend.

Over sold

Calling this upscale is a stretch. Was unfinished in places (holes in ceiling, wires haning out of the wall, furniture was rough). Not a kitchenette nor vehicle electrical charging station as described under amenities. Disappointed and not as decribed.
