Thank you for the feedback. We replace our pillows and towels up to twice a year but they get frequent use. I will get those switched out immediately. The couch is also only 2 years old but with how much traffic we get at the cabins, the use can be fairly hard on them. I will get a new couch ordered as well.

Guest had some issues with the lock and called me to help. I live 15 minutes from the cabin but was still on site within 20 minutes of the call. When I tried the lock, I did not experience the same issue he had and it immediately opened. That only made him more upset. When he tried again I did see something that could be causing his problem and I told him how to correct it. Some of his complaints were valid (such as issues with kitchen outlet, slight drip in coffee maker and one side of one slot in toaster not working) and were corrected within 24 hours of being notified. Others were fairly unreasonable including the toilet being too low (it is a standard toilet) and guests in other cabins dog being off leash despite his dog being off leash when I arrived. He also only had 1 pet on his reservation despite having more animals in the car when I arrived (we don't allow 3 dogs). I would not describe any of his interactions as friendly and I do not think we were ever going to make him happy. Even now I hate writing any rebuttal as we very much value our guests feedback, however, after receiving only our second 1 star review in 5 years I feel the need to add clarity to the situation. Please do not only take my word for it and take the time to read all our other reviews, including the guests in the same cabin one week prior that left a 10/10 review.
