We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Maine! The coastal views were absolutely gorgeous, unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We were conveniently located near plenty of activities, restaurants, and things to do, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The check-in process was simple and seamless, making arrival stress-free. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay while visiting Maine!

This was our second time staying at this home on Peaks Island, and we loved it just as much as the first time! It really is the perfect place for our family to get away and relax. The pictures don't fully capture just how beautiful the property and views are. It's even better in person!The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and everything needed to make meals at home. We picked up groceries in Portland to stock the fridge for the week and then grabbed anything else we needed at the little market on the island. The market has a nice selection of essentials, and the staff couldn't be friendlier.I also have to mention the primary bedroom because the bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! The updated primary bathroom is absolutely beautiful, too.Communication with the host was great, and everything about our stay was easy and enjoyable.One tip for anyone visiting Peaks Island is to do a little research on the ferry schedules and peak versus off-peak travel, especially if you're planning to spend time in Portland or bring a car over to the island. A little planning ahead makes getting around much easier.We absolutely love Peaks Island, and this house makes the experience even better. It's such a peaceful, beautiful place to spend time with family. We had another wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back for a third visit. Highly recommend both the home and the host!

Highly recommend. The house and island was exactly what we were hoping for our relaxing and peaceful family vacation. The home was as presented on VRBO. Everything was clean and linens were fresh upon arrival. The communication with owner was excellent. First floor was spacious and comfortable to hang out in with a gorgeous view of water. It was amazing to wake up to see sunrise from the second floor. The kitchen had all appliances needed so that we could cook and eat at home. We used the washer and dryer and both bikes.Only suggestion (not house related) is if visiting the island during busy times, be sure to rent your golf cart prior to your stay. They are both super fun and practical to use so you don't want to miss out. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this waterfront property on Peaks Island. The home was beautifully appointed and thoughtfully outfitted with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The waterfront setting was stunning, and it was the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the island’s charm. Everything was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway on Peaks Island.

My family and I spent the Fourth of July weekend on Peaks Island, and this rental couldn’t have been more perfect. The setting is breathtaking, with the home perched right on the water and offering incredible views. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves each night was truly a highlight of our stay. The kids especially enjoyed exploring the rocky shoreline, playing outdoors, and discovering the island’s natural beauty.The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. Nikki was an excellent host—responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to communicate with throughout the process. The location strikes the ideal balance: close enough to town for easy access to restaurants and activities, yet far enough away to enjoy peace and privacy away from the ferry crowds.If you’re looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway, this is the place. It’s hard to imagine a more serene and enjoyable spot to unwind and take in all that Peaks Island has to offer.

Absolutely spectacular! Windows everywhere to capture the breath-taking views! Kiddos loved exploring the tide pools and bird-watching. Wild turkeys, ducks, gulls, egrets and more - downloaded the Merlin app just to keep track of them all! Peaks Island is lovely - nice restaurants, shopping, everything we needed. Heads up - the vehicle ferry charge was close to 200. They do have golf cart rentals on the island, but those are also pricey. Regardless, we would definitely stay again! Rooms were immaculately clean, and host was very communicative/accessible.

The location of this property is absolutely stunning. The ocean views are amazing, we saw multiple eagles, and Peaks Island is so peaceful. It was great that I could bring my dog, and check in was very easy.

Beautiful Maine getaway!

Really enjoyed the property and it is located beautifully along the rocky shore of the bay. Our first day was at the end of a big heat wave and the house only has one small A/C unit that we couldn’t figure out how to make work. Fortunately, the house cooled off quickly that night and we enjoyed leaving the windows open for the rest of the stay. Master bed is positioned perfectly to enjoy listening to the ocean and morning sunrises. The ferry to and from the island takes time (sometimes you have to arrive an hour or so early), patience, and money to navigate. Transporting a vehicle costs 150 per round trip. We would’ve like to have known more of these details in advance. Otherwise, the house was great, the location was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the trip. We were visited multiple times by wild turkeys roaming the yard.

Amazing House, with Amazing Views!

We loved our stay at Ocean Spray Rd, this house is beautiful and cosy, ( we stayed in late Autumn ) is is so well stocked, with every possible need met. From a fantastic range of hair care and skincare products, if I’d forgotten my own, to plentiful filtered water for our use. I just can’t find enough words to explain how perfect it is here, an absolute idyll, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, ( we started our journey in NYC, after travelling out from the UK ) We didn’t leave the island during our 4 night stay, with the views and the house being quite enough for our needs. Book with Nikki for a wonderful vacation experience. Easy to access the property, and great communication should you need any help.

The views were amazing!

Loved the house & views were more than exceptional!! My husband & I decided not to tour outside the island because of those magnificent views. The house is well appointed with everything we needed. Definitely will be returning.
