Nice home but not kept up
We checked in from July 3rd-5th 2025. The house had not been cleaned from the previous guest's. We were ready to leave, but because of the coordination of our family vacation/birthday celebrations, we decided to stay and clean the property ourselves. Stephanie did return our call and was very apologetic. The microwave did not work. Only one outlet in the kitchen worked. There are two washers and two dryers, and one of the washers dispenser drawer kept opening, which,would cause the washer to stop and not complete the cycle. The whole house needs a deep clean and update. Cloth furniture was stained and the house smelled musty. Bathrooms had previous guests hair on the floors, toilet and showers needed a good scrubbing. Also there was urin smells in most bathrooms. We also cleaned the outdoor areaWe spent our first check in day cleaning. Stephanie did offer to move us to a different rental, for one night, and refund us for the first night. My family was okay with the refund, but thoug what if it the next rental is not clean like the rental we were already in?There were flies and dead flies in the kitchenThere isn't a screen door on the sliding glass door(which had not been cleaned in some time).The home is great for family gatherings, but the cleaning team is not doing the job that they are being paid to do.I'm not sure how often the property owners or property management company inspect this home, but it needs an onsite inspection asap.
