This place was amazing! Definitely would stay here again! We stayed 6 nights with 9 adults and 1 infant in our party. There was plenty of space! Sergio even ensured there was a crib for the baby in one of the rooms. We spent most of our time in the roof top pool and hot tub. Great view of the ocean. Sergio is an excellent host! Very responsive and gave us great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. He even helped set up a private day tour of Panama City and helped me coordinate an Island boat trip. His assistant, Jorge does an amazing job preparing and bringing homemade meals to the house. We ordered breakfast three times and dinner twice. Jorge even did a grocery run for us one evening when we were too tired to go out! Some of the ladies in our group used the SPA service arranged by Sergio and said it was nice. The masseuse came to the house and set up on one of the outside covered patios. The house is located in a gated community about 2 hrs south of Panama City. There is 24hr security guards at the gate you have to show your ID to get in. Traffic in PC is terrible! Be aware of that if you plan to spend time in the city. We decided to check out one night early from the house and spend the night at a hotel near the airport to ensure we made our flight.

This house was amazing. From the rooftop pool to the huge patio deck, it provided everything a person could wish for in a vacation rental. The owner was extremely responsive before and during our rental period. The grounds were lovely and well kept up. The short walk to the beach was easy.

Incredible property with the best help -- Jorge and his wife. Kind, compassionate and very helpful. The food they created was delicious and typical Panamanian. The property was perfect for a family get together and birthday for my wife. Watching the butterflies ascend upwards through the trees on the second level was breathtaking and the owner was incredibly responsive to our needs. The power outages were an unfortunate circumstance of the are and the owner had no control over this.

This is by far the BEST rental property I have stayed at. My family members were over the moon with how beautiful and well kept this house was. This house was spacious enough to accommodate my entire family. Ms. Enelda and Mr. Jorge made several delicious meals for the family that we all enjoyed. My mother enjoyed her stay so much she cannot wait until we do it again at the same property! Thank you Sergio for being so communicative and flexible with my group. You are definitely a top host!

What an amazing stay!!

We had an incredible stay at the Costa Esmeralda Beach House! The house is just a short walk from a quiet, beautiful beach—ideal for morning strolls or sunset views. But what truly sets this place apart is the rooftop pool. It was absolutely the highlight for us—private, relaxing, and offering a stunning view. There's nothing like cooling off in the pool while watching the sky turn gold in the evening.The house is well-maintained, clean, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. It feels like a peaceful retreat, but with everything you need close at hand.Sergio is a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and full of great recommendations. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of.Whether you're looking to relax, explore, or just unwind in a beautiful setting, this spot is a hidden gem. The house is as it is online, just beautiful, Jorge was absolutely exceptional. I got my daily excerise by walking up to the roof top 4 times a day and hitting the pool. The age group ranged from 3 to 76 years old. No complaints at all.

We've stayed at several VRBO properties, USA & Europe, and my family agrees, that this is the BEST home thst we've booked. The communication between us and Sergio was almost instantaneous! The house is fully stocked. Kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, ALL outside areas are impeccable.10/10. Chef services was UNBELIEVABLE!! Emelda prepared and served us ALL exceptional meals and for the price, convenience, and TASTE, you CAN'T find this anywhere in town!! We will be back one day!! Thank you for an exquite experience!!

Relaxing

This is Absolutely the place to stay.

There is nothing I can think of that would improve upon this experience with Sergio and his home. Communication was excellent and he made himself available for any and all messages I sent him, to the point of my feeling like I was being a pest. This is the Second time we have stayed in his home. This is the only place I would consider staying if I am ever staying in his area. The house is Unbelievable.

Great Family Time

This property is a 10 It is spacious with plenty of space whether you want to gather in the same area top deck by the pool, in the main kitchen for a meal, on the lower covered deck or the main living room. The home is so well equipped not only to cook meals in but also for those beach days. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. Sergio was very attentive and helpful. We also really enjoyed Emelda's breakfast (for our first morning before we had sorted out groceries) and the lovely "gift" of homemade tamales. Special shoutout for the pizza oven. We picked up premade dough at Sizzle and Spice and made a variety of pizzas during our stay. We also enjoyed walking the beach that is a 5 minute walk away. At low tide it is massive. This is a spectacular property with lots to do.

Magnificent Property

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. Can't say enough about the experience there. The house was even beautifully decorated for Christmas! The homeowner, Sergio, was extremely attentive throughout our stay. We ordered a couple of meals made for us at the house which were both authentic and delicious as well as reasonably priced!!We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Excellent hospitality!

Panama, REVISITED 35 years later

I am a first time VRBO user, and if all properties and hosts are as AWESOME as this property and host Sergio, I may never stay in a hotel again. This trip involved 15 people ranging from 6 years old to 79 years old. Our host Sergio made this a trip of a lifetime. He was very accommodating, made purchases for his home based on requests by my group. He privately purchased a commercial grade frozen drink/margarita maker. He made reservations for tours that I was having difficulty getting due to our size and language barrier. I had a teenage daughter become ill and he arranged for a doctor that made a house call. He arranged massages/ manicures. All of these he did at NO Additional Charge. Our on site person, EMELDA was superb and provided some of the best meals I have ever eaten. Please notice I have not yet mentioned his impeccable and beautiful home. Everything that was advertised and more was provided. The home was immaculate and well appointed and has obviously been well cared for and maintained. I am a retired US Military Soldier with 21 years of service and I cannot truly convey how impressed I was with the level of attention to detail and service that was provided to me, my family and close friends. I HIGHLY enjoyed, and RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY and HOST. At the ended of our stay it felt like we had stayed with close friends or family, that cared about our ENTIRE TRIP. Sergio, thank you so very much for ALL you did for my group, you went ABOVE and BEYOND, EMELDA miss you

This is a spectacular property

I have stayed in many countries and many VRBO homes. This one is tied for 1st place on our families list. Our family of 6 enjoyed this huge home with all the amenities I can think of. The kids loved the roof top pool and huge amount of space over four floors. It is beautiful and very well maintained. Sergio is an amazing host and went above and beyond when I killed the battery on my rental car by leaving the lights on. Inside 30 minutes someone was helping me out by jumping the car. How is that for being an excellent host!!!!!

Fantastic Stay in Paradise

The property was amazing and the hospitality matched it. Sergio was incredibly responsive and helped us with everything we might have needed. The chefs cooked delicious meals and made it easy for such a large group to get fed. I would love to come back and stay in the future!

Incredible House

This house was everything that was described and more. We are coming back for sure. Sergio was extremely attentive to any requests, concerns, or questions we had. This is such a wonderful house that it is hard to imagine that it ever has vacancies.

Great place to stay!

The house was clean and beautiful. Sergio helped us A lOT any calling taxis for us, finding us a photographer for family photos and even finding a baker to make us a birthday cake. I would recommend!
