To clarify for future guests: our home is professionally cleaned and inspected after every stay. After this review, we personally re-inspected and confirmed there is no poison oak or ivy in the backyard. The water comes from the local municipal system and is safe, though minerals can sometimes cause slight color variation. Regarding kitchenware: as is common in vacation rentals, dishes are typically cleaned by prior guests. Our team focuses on sanitizing and preparing the entire home—including three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms—so we suggest rinsing items before use. A dishwasher and supplies are provided for convenience. For the patio and screened porch: as outdoor spaces in a windy area, some dust or pollen can naturally accumulate between cleanings. We provide tablecloths so guests can cover the outdoor table for a clean surface. Most of our reviews are 5 stars, reflecting our commitment to guest satisfaction, so we’re disappointed to hear your stay didn’t fully reflect the value we strive to offer. Our home is priced for an affordable, comfortable beach stay—not a luxury resort—while still offering great space, privacy, and pet-friendly accommodations.
