It was a lovely stay. It was so nice to have the kayaks and paddleboards there for us to use, as well as the games in the playroom. It was a great place for a young family.

We enjoyed our stay right on the lake. We celebrated my wife's birthday while there. From ages 8 to 76 there was plenty of room and lots to do. Nice size living room for people to talk, large dining table, a garage full of things for the young ones. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and the fire pit. the peninsula was great for serving. The bathroom was very clean with walk-in shower.The hosts are wonderful and easy to get along with.Several families could stay.

The house was beautiful and the view was magnificent! It was so close to the venue of the bridal shower I was co-hosting and the perfect setting for all of the bridesmaids and brides to gather after. We told stories and laughed. The kitchen was perfectly stocked. We all loved it.

The house was very nice, carpets clean, well-equipped kitchen. What is pictured is the reality. I must note some issues that may or may not matter to some: - the temperature controls are automated and allow the temperature to rise significantly at night. This is an issue as all the bedrooms are upstairs where heat tends to collect. One can still manually adjust the temperature, but this will require some adjustment late at night. - the dart board in them game room is not operational. Foosball is off kilter, as is the pool table. So enjoyment of the game room was hindered somewhat. - there are no physically posted rules or directions on what is expected when one vacates the property. I was told by text to put out the garbage bins in the evening of the day I was also told to vacate the property by 10AM "at the latest." Perhaps many people stay past the given check out time and require the extra admonition. I am not one of those people. Despite these issues this is a very nice property, ideal for a larger group.

Perfect view, on lake. Nice area with a couple hundred feet of sandbars to walk out and enjoy with family. Area is popular and many boaters come in to enjoy, but we had plenty of room. Had to contact our host, Mary for check-in information on our way to the cottage, because we never received details to get in. However, she responded quickly. She also answered questions about where to run an extension cord for our bass boat and was very helpful in answering our questions when we arrived. Upon entry, there was a nice basket of welcome items, and the house was very clean. The main floor of cottage was perfect, comfy, and had nice furniture, with good A/C. We enjoyed time in the game room as well. The 2nd floor of the cottage could use an update to match the rest of the home and be as light and beautiful as the rest. It was hot upstairs, with not much if any A/C flow. Luckily, we stayed during a cooler weather week and used a fan in the window to help keep some air flowing in. The mattresses were not comfortable at all. Luckily there were 3 comfortable leather couches on the first floor, so we all slept down in the A/C the second night. We spent our third day enjoying the place and lake, then decided to take the couple hour drive home so we didn't have to sleep on couches another night. Enjoyed our stay overall.

Family Getaway

Great lake getaway

Great location to relax and play in the water. Far enough out to provide a break from city life, but not too far away from anything you would need. Very clean and well appointed. Attentive and accommodating hosts.

Awesome quiet beautiful hideaway!

We had a great experience and it is such a great spot for a long weekend or longer. Right on the sandbar of the lake. It is amazing and great property. Definitely would book again and plan to bring my boys next time. Very family friendly and cool area to explore. We had a great fishing weekend with friends and wonderful weather. John and Mary were great with any questions we had. 100% recommend this property.

Awesome lake view!

We stayed here for my daughters graduation at Syracuse University. It was about a 25 minute drive to SU. The owners were very responsive and helpful!! The lake is beautiful! Perfect for the 4 of us!!

Oneida Lake

Had a great time, we were in town visiting friends and doing some catching up, excellent place to host a few friends and let the kids enjoy the kayaks and paddleboards. We had a rain day but the game room and garage set-up saved the day!! Cabin was as described and our hosts communication was great!

Fantastic Gem at the Lake

We stayed here while we were dropping our daughter off for college. What a fantastic house right on the water. Although we were busy and didn’t take advantage of the lake, I could tell it is a special place for those looking for lake fun! The garage was set up with ping pong, foosball, and darts if it happens to be a rainy day. There is a casino close by that is also really nice! The proximity to Syracuse made it easy to get into town if needed. John and Mary are wonderful host and are right next door for any questions that come up.

Beautiful and relaxing retreat!

This adorable lakefront cottage was perfect for a relaxing family weekend. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards in the sunshine and ping pong and foosball table when it rained! Rental included everything we needed. Cozy home with a beautiful view of Oneida Lake!

Great spacious property

Family of 4 stayed with mote than enough room. Rented a boat for 3 days from boat oneida and was able to dock it at the house. Main floor boasts so much space to host dinner parties and bbq with extended family while in town. Main floor is also pretty handycap accessible for person in wheelchair.

Fantastic Property!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as perfect as last time! Well-kept house, quiet neighborhood, beautiful lakefront location, and all the amenities you need for a vacation at a lake. John and Mary have done an exceptional job and are so kind and easy to work with. We were able to launch our boat nearby and dock it at the house for the week for easy trips out on the lake to fish. The kayaks and paddle boards were a hit with the kids and adults and the quiet, sandy bay makes for good swimming The games in the garage were also a favorite again. I highly recommend this property for anyone with or without kids if you’re looking for a relaxing lakefront vacation!

Best Ever

The Milligans are the perfect hosts. The house was spotless, and extremely well-equipped. Communication was ultra-easy and there were absolutely no problems. Highly recommend!

Great vacation rental

We had a wonderful stay on the lake. The house is very comfortable and there’s a lot to do in the area . The kayaks and paddle boards were excellent. We really enjoyed all the indoor games as well. The owners were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend 5 stars.

Family vacation with elderly parents

The rental unit was appropriately furnished with decent amenities and the unit size was adequate for making our stay comfortable for everyone. Room for improvement are probably beyond the scope of this review, although worth mentioning that a second bathroom on the main floor (maybe where the laundry room is) and a toaster oven would have been highly desirable. Our one week stay seemed too short to fully take-in the lakeside experience, as we did not have time to enjoy all the water activities this place has to offer.
