Firstly, it was disheartening to see that despite our clear instructions, liquor was brought and poured into the hot tub water, along with confetti, resulting in extensive cleaning by our team. The subsequent cleaning required to remove the confetti and liquor from the hot tub and filters was extensive, resulting in additional time. As a consequence of alcohol in the hot tub, the hot tub went into protection mode, which required professional repair services as well. Of utmost concern is the destruction of the hot tub cover. Ordering a replacement cover is not only costly but also means that this amenity will be unavailable for several weeks, affecting the experience of future guests. The condition in which house was left was highly upsetting, as evidenced by the unfortunate incident with cats. This lack of care not only jeopardizes the property but also poses risks with local wildlife, as evidenced by the cats that entered and caused damage and mess inside. Please know that these issues were communicated with VRBO and provided with necessary evidence to support our claims. We were informed by VRBO that the claim has been settled in our favor, allowing us to proceed with necessary repairs and replacements. Our goal is to ensure accountability and address the damage caused during your stay through the appropriate channels. It's important to follow these procedures to address the damage and ensure accountability. As a small family business, we take great pride in hosting our guests and providing a positive experience.
