Great location and communication from the host Diane. Lots of rules and info, but well presented. The place has that old Florida feel that I love The last thing I want is a sterile, ultra modern hotel. The second to last thing I want is a hot room after a day of travel. It was 80 in the room and 88 outside. There were firm instructions about turning the AC down to 78 when not in the unit. 78?? It took hours to cool down but we did raise the temp when away. The room was far from clean unfortunately. The stovetop was dirty as was the glassware and flatware and the room in general was grungy in the corners. I looked like the windows hadn’t been washed in decades. Lastly (and I hate to go on) memory foam mattresses wear out and when they do and two people try to sleep in them it’s like being pressed together in a hammock. Other units might be wonderful, but I’m not sure if I’d return based on this experience. There are enough competitive options in the immediate area to make a repeat here a bad risk.

Thank you so much for your review. I am pretty sure that I checked your room the morning of your arrival and put the a/c down to 70. If I had any idea that the room was not acceptable to you I would have been happy to have my cleaning girl come back and clean all of the things that you said were not cleaned. If the room was hot, I also would of been happy to move you to another room, but you never let me know there were any problems. As far as the windows, the unit is 1 block to the ocean and we had several rain storms the week of your arrival. I wish I had known that you were unhappy with the unit I could have done something but I can't fix any problems if I am not notified that there is a problem. I would be happy to offer a discount if you would like to come back and try us again. Best wishes

We had an amazing stay! We have stayed here before and love it! The condo was incredibly clean, neat, and well-equipped with everything we needed—they truly thought of everything. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and Atlantic Avenue. Communication with the host was fantastic from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The Grove was a great getaway spot. Perfect location for beach, walking and dining out. Our unit was terrific in every way. The grounds and pool are well maintained and quiet. My only suggestion would be to post a sign at the pool asking guests not to “save” seats. We’ll be back!

Descent stay with a really good location. The host/property manager was quick to respond with information. Amenities were fine. The room is small…much smaller than a hotel room, so i wouldn’t stay for more than a couple days and no way would i stay with more than just 2 people in the room. The floor was filthy (my feet were black after walking on floor when we first arrived…i should have kept my sandals on to walk inside), but bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. There were beach chairs and a couple beach towels to use which is convenient. Downtown & beach is walkable and parking onsite is also convenient.

Hi Dena, Thank you for your honest feedback. If I had known about the floor I would have sent the cleaning crew back in. We strive for a 5 star review from our guests and I can't make things right if I don't know there is a problem. Yes the room is small but does include a kitchen so I would say it's about the same size as a standard hotel room with a full kitchen and stove top. As a good faith gesture I would like to invite you back to stay with a discount. Please contact me should you wish to return. I'm glad you enjoyed all of the other things and I'm sorry I could not refund you a night because you had to leave early. Best wishes in the new year!!

Review

The property was convenient to beach and shops. Full kitchen was great. WiFi was extremely slow, couldn’t watch an entire movie without the tv screen shutting down multiple times or freezing.

Hi Pat, I'm sorry you experienced a slow response from watching a movie? The unit does have cable so I am not sure what was happening? I would of been happy to call Xfinity if I had known there was an issue. I will look into an issues with the cable and be assured I will have them resolved. We are happy that you were happy with the rest of your time with us. Thank you and best wishes. Diane

Great Place Great Location

Adorable unit for 2. It had everything you could possibly need for your stay & the beach. If we had to find something wrong with it, it would be a light right in front of the door, in the courtyard area. Lit up the whole room all night.

Excellent Location

This is an excellent location only one block from the beach and Atlantic Avenue (restaurants, shops). Pool is nice but there are about 5 steps up (no handicap access that I saw). Blackout blinds would be a nice add considering the amount of landscape light that comes in a night.

Delray Stay

Was ok. Thought it would have had the kitchen basics in paper products. Paper towels. Plates. Cups. Bathroom toilet has issues. Flushing. Needs new ring on floor. Leaked and smelled of urine. Great location
