Margaret's home was delightful. Along with an interesting and cozy interior, the countryside is beautiful. It was a perfect place for our family to have a reunion and remember our hometown.

We had such a wonderful stay and truly felt at home here. The house was absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable for our family of six. The beds were so comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and spread out. We especially loved having several different sitting areas, which gave us the perfect balance of spending time together and having a quiet moment to ourselves.The beautiful gardens were such a lovely bonus and created a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that we really enjoyed. The location was also fantastic and made it so easy and convenient to explore the area.This home was everything we could have hoped for and more.We made some lovely memories here.

Margaret Jo’s home is stunning. The gardens, the decor, the comfort and its perfectly appointed. It was an honor for us to have stayed in this impeccable home. directions to the house and access to it were very well communicated and easy. We never got to meet personally, but she met my daughters and brought us a lovely gift! My girls said you were a delight Margaret Jo! Thank you!!

Such a charming and well appointed house. We loved the lake access down a short and beautiful trail. House is very well located, surrounded by farm country on a road with very little car traffic and just a short drive from Millerton town. House itself is very charming, well decorated and landscaped and has truly everything you could ask for in a rental house. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Third visit and the first during the summer - Do not hesitate to book for a summer visit! Still managed to be a welcoming breath of fresh air even during a summer heat wave. The garden/yards were impeccable with stunning sunsets. Air conditioning was strong throughout (which is definitely not the case for many places in the area). Margaret Jo is so thoughtful and caring as a hostess. Thank you again for having us in your lovely home!

Our stay at Bluebird Valley Farmhouse was absolutely perfect!! Words and photos cannot do this place justice! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and comfort of Margaret Jo’s home. The house is beautifully decorated and appointed with everything one could possibly need, the area is gorgeous and incredibly peaceful (we enjoyed stunning sunsets across the valley each night of our stay), and Margaret Jo was the ultimate host! She thought of everything we could possibly need, and even left pie for us as a welcoming gift! My family truly enjoyed our stay here and everyone commented on how wonderful our weekend at the house was. Margaret Jo also was so welcoming and accommodating; we planned to stay here for our son’s graduation WELL in advance, and we felt taken care of from the moment we made the booking. We will be returning again and again, and cannot say enough great things about it! Thank you Margaret Jo!

This home is a great spot in The Berkshires. This is our second stay here and both were excellent. The home is well appointed - very comfortable to make your own meals however for dining out we did Willa's and Woodlands - both excellent. A wonderful walk to lake on the property and lots of great activities near by. I highly recommend!!

The bluebird farmhouse was perfect for our trip. Our group had 4 adults and 3 young children. The house had more than enough room to accommodate everyone. The house was stocked with anything you could need, and the host even dropped off a pie and some coffee for our arrival. The yard was spacious, gas grill available for grilling and the fire pit area was great for an evening of Smores. The house was beautifully decorated inside and out. We’d highly recommend this house for a relaxing stay in the Hudson valley area.

very special and comfortable home!

We had a relaxing stay - 3 good friends gathering from 3 different states over holiday weekend. Enjoyed the gorgeous home. Loved the rails to trails path, which we walked 35 mins into adorable Millerton (great shops and restaurants) and would recommend bringing bikes to really get around! Loved Lakeville and the lake. restaurants - willa and the black rabbit - super yummy food, lots of veggie options too. Thank for for a lovely, lovely stay!

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed our stay. It was everything and more than the listing said. Margaret was very responsive to our inquiries and available if we needed her. The Bluebird Valley Farmhouse was very comfortable. It offered areas for group activities and quiet areas for those of us needing some down time. The grounds were beautiful and offered varied sitting areas. We highly recommend this place.

Great Property!

We were there for my son's senior formal weekend at Salisbury School. The home is located about 15 minutes from the school. The house and host were fantastic. The only minor issue we had was there was no A/C installed in the house and it was a warm weekend. The owner apologized and said it was to be installed at a later date. we opened windows and found a couple of fans in closets.

A Fabulous Farmhouse

If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at Bluebird Farmhouse. It is so charming with wonderful artwork throughout this warm and comfortable home. A beautiful setting with a very well equipped home providing everything you need. We were in town for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this special farmhouse!!

Fall Family Weekend

We had an amazing time during our stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything (+ more!) we needed. The area this time a year was absolutely stunning and it was truly giving a picturesque autumn!
