I gave a few items 4 out of 5 stars based on the following: Most people go to the area for trail riding. With that in mind, only street parking was available for trailers. My group was pushing the limit for size of the house with 3 trailers for 5 machines. The other issue was that we experienced several water leaks throughout the house due to heavy rains. The extent of the leaks told us that these were not new but likely present for a little while. While noticing the leaks, a vent hanging from the ceiling over a bed, looking as though it could fall at any minute was noticed. The owner was notified, and they acknowledged. However, no compensation or resolution was offered. Luckily none of the water leaks were directly over anyone's bed. With that said, interaction with the owner was pleasant. The house was very acceptably clean, and our group was very satisfied and comfortable with all the other features this house offered. It was a lot of decent privacy for a group of 10 people. I would rent it again, but I do hope the roof leak issues are resolved.

We Loved our stay .Parking was easy . The car port can easily fit 3 trucks with street parking big enough for 2 or 3 more cars right out front. The garage held 4 dirtbikes and 3 two seater sxs no problem and was all lockable and we had no issues . The house is huge and everything was clean and ready to go for us . (The showers had great pressure and super hot water! ) overall a great stay definitely would recommend. Wish we went a little later to enjoy the pool that is massive but maybe next time . The trail system is less than 5 minutes down the street . Make sure to check out dandys for some great bar food and cheap beer !

This place is underrated, it’s massive inside! Tons of room to relax, stretch out and enjoy. The pool set up and patio is great for hosting all of your guests. The location is great especially for the access to the Hatfield Trail System. Less than a mile to the trailhead! Gas stations in town; several bar/restaurant options all close to the house. Clean beds and baths. There’s plenty of parking for your machines, and it’s a quiet little street with plenty of privacy & security.

Guys Annual ATV Trip

Property was as described but the description about plenty of room for parking was misleading. We had a 44 ft fifth wheel and without expertise driving you won't get your rig near the house. The turns are too sharp and tight in either direction of the road. We had to go past the road up to the hospital on the top of the hill all the way around to get the rig turned around to come back down the hill to get up the the road to the front of the house. When we left we had the back back down the road out onto the other Road to get out. Everything everybody else has said and all of the reviews are very accurate. We definitely enjoyed our stay but we were a group of 12 with four different trucks and trailers and parking was very challenging. Two of the rigs had to be parked on a different block below the house and we had to put our trust into the neighborhood and community that nothing would happen to them, and fortunately nothing did.

Spacious home

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was extremely spacious for all of us. The home was extremely clean And Welcoming when you enter. We will Definitely lease this property again on our next trip.

Great time

We had a great time. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Location is perfect because it’s close to everything. Neighbors were very nice! Host was super nice and very accommodating. We will definitely come back and stay again! Dirt Days was a lot of fun for us and my nephews. The vendors were very friendly. The town has a lot of cool history.

Long weekend with family and friends

We had an amazing weekend full of adventures! The kids loved the game room and pool. The home owners were super and very responsive. We had a slight issue with the upstairs air conditioner and they went above and beyond to get it fixed quickly!!

Party of 8

Plenty of space to roam around the house, garage and carport area are great for parking sxs. The one bathroom upstairs is little weird, you have to walk through bedroom to get to it but we made it work. Outside patio was great to hang out and watch movies.

Nice Place for Large Group

The place itself was clean and very well stocked. It’s close to the ATV trails and the town is ATV friendly. The town itself was a bit of a shock when we rolled in. It’s a very low income community with a lot of empty and dilapidated buildings. All of the locals we met were fantastic and made us feel welcome. Some nice restaurants, excellent food at very reasonable prices. 3 Guys Pizza and Starters are highly recommended. The Steakhouse across the River in Kentucky was NOT good. Parking is tough because you’re on a hill. We were able to park two pickup trailer rigs in front and two on the street behind the house. Talk to the neighbors they appreciate it and are nice people.

Williamson house

The home is beautiful and very spacious for a large group but parking gets challenging beyond 2 trucks and trailers. One neighbor was super friendly, one on the other side just kept to herself but didn’t make any fuss about our large group with trucks and trailers. The neighborhood is pretty rough in appearance but everyone we came into contact with was super nice.

We conveniently have100 feet of parking in front of the house, 3 carports, a garage and lots of street parking on the back side of the home also, we haven't had much any issue with parking situations. We also have cameras all around the house for security, but not yet had any issues with crime. We appreciate your feedback. Hope to see you again!

A fun, convenient place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. It was big enough to accommodate all of us with each family in their own room. It was very convenient to the trail head for the guys to go riding. And the house had enough activities including the pool to keep the women and kids occupied. The house was very clean and well-outfitted.

Vacation

The house was located close to trails, and was great. We were a little nervous about the neighbor it was located in, but had no problems. Owners were great to work with, responded right away to any questions we had. People in town were some of the nicest we have ever met. Would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit for side by side riding.

House

The house was very nice and large. The tub jets didn’t work downstairs and neither did the downstairs thermostat. It would of been nice to have trash cans in each room and we found beer cans outside and the outside trash by the pool was full when we got there. We did not smoke weed inside the house whatsoever and if there was roaches outside the property we do apologize for that. It was a nice weekend place to stay.

I would stay here again. It was fun in the pool and they supplied a lot of clean towels. There was gas for the grill. It was a well taken care of house. Great for family or just friends. Close to the trail head if you ride.

We first walked in and there was dried food in the sink, the outside and inside of frig was disgusting, counter tops were disgusting. There was three old pizza boxes in the oven that were full of mold. The floors , I dont think were ever swept. We had to sweep the pool that was full of leaves and bugs on the floor of the pool. So we had to clean the first 3 hours of our trip. The pool water was very clean after we cleaned the floor. We liked the the large bathrooms and all the bedrooms. Pillows and beds were comfortable, but not top grad. we would stay there again ONLY IF THE PLACE WAS CLEANED!!!!

PROS AND CONS OF WILLIAMSON HOUSE MDW Stay 2021

5 Stars; Owner was Very Accommodating! We'd come back again. Very cool updated and bizarre house! PROS Location, Ease, and Access to the Trails and Town Size of House, very spacey for large Groups Pool, Did I say it has a pool?! Plenty of Private Decks & Patios to hang out House had everything you'd need fully stocked! Dandees the local bar in town! The Great Neighbors CONS The Great Neighbors Cameras Everywhere Inside and Out & No locking doors No Garage only a large open Car Port No Firepit No Water Spicket to wash outside SxS radiators you have to hijack the pool hose to get water Jamies the neighbors' badass pitbull Don't park in front of Jamies the Neighbors house and all will be good Limited Trailer Parking if you have multi trailers without being a nuisance to the neighbors.

Thanks John! we'll make sure to replace the interior door locks throughout the house so they lock. Also we don't have any interior cameras only exterior to protect renter's equipment outside
