This was one of the nicest places we've vacationed at. The kids had such a great time it was very nice to see them playing outside and off of electronics. Definitely would like to come back again.

It was an amazing experience and our dogs loved our stay the most. The location isn’t the most convenient but the place almost have everything you need and more, you just need to plan ahead the food during your entire stay since the nearest establishments are almost 30-40mins away. The hosts were very detailed on instructions and all which was a really great help esp with the directions going to the place. Aand prepare about the sticker plants for you and your dogs.

We really enjoyed at Steven and Michelle’s cozy cabin. The best part was feeling their care and love for us as guests. So many beautiful and thoughtful details. The cabin has everything that you need. The land is beautiful. We love the feeling of privacy and getting away from everything. Our only disappointment was not being able to hike the land as was described. There was too many stickies that attached to our dog in our clothes. We couldn’t figure out the trail to the back of the property. Anybody with a group of children would be in heaven. Our doggy also was in heaven. It’s easy to recommend this beautiful place

My nephew, grandnephew & I had a very nice stay at the cabin. It was very well-stocked, and the hosts thought of everything--inside the cabin & around the property. A peaceful, wooded area, lots of blackberry bushes around the property to pick and enjoy, gorgeous star-filled nights. Also, Sender's Market in Mountain Ranch on the way to the cabin has a terrific deli and probably the best sandwiches I've had.

Hosts were very accommodating and supportive! Helped me every step of the way. Clean and spacious area! Very relaxing and serene. Plenty of things to do from board games, movies, to learning about the history of the area. Hosts were very sweet and welcoming! Went out of their way to put up a birthday banner for my husband. we loved or stay and can’t wait to be back with our friends and family!

This is our 2nd time staying at The cozy cabin nature retreat and dog heaven. We love love love it there. My husband's favorite part is the exploring, being in nature, comfy bed and how much our dog loves it there. My top of the list is the outdoor shower and the wood stove. BEST shower i have ever had!!! I dream about it all year long. Lol My little dog loves it there so much that when i was trying to get him in the truck and he ran back to the cabin door. He loves the freedom and the costco sized dog bed. The owners have really thought of EVERYTHING! Seriously just bring clothes, food and firewood. The linens and pillows are clean and sufficient. Everything is well thought out and a lot of fun. Very kid friendly but please watch them as you are in nature. I can't wait to go back for our next anniversary/birthday.

Cabin getaway

We had a great stay at the cozy cabin! Perfectly situated in nature, yet close enough to society, this was the perfect weekend retreat to get away from the every day hustle.

Nature glamping get away

Stayed 3 nights and could have easily stayed longer. So many fun activities around the property. We loved every minute of getting away from the everyday city life. My boys (8 & 10) and dog were in heaven. It's a fully stocked place and we actually packed too much. Just FYI we have Xfinity for Internet and cell and we didn't have service for either untill about 20 min down the hill. Highly recommend doing the guided Cavern Tour and going to the river access off Electra Rd (search Vaughts Beach). The grocery store Senders in Mountain Ranch has everything you may need (about 13 min away). We plan to return for sure! Thanks again Steven and Michelle. ll

Perfect glamping getaway

This cabin made for a perfect getaway. It was clean with all the amenities one would need. Michelle and Steve thought of everything. We enjoyed doing a movie night with the projector. The bathrooms were neat and clean. There were lots of games and things to keep my 12 year son outside and busy. The outdoor shower was wonderful and water was hot. Would recommend . 10/10. Would love to go again in the fall.

Little Getaway

All the fun of camping, but a cozy bed to climb into at the end of the day! Bonus- outdoor movie night where our dogs were welcome!

Another relaxing stay

It’s our 4th time coming back. We all enjoyed our stay just as much as the first time. Clean, quiet, cabin stocked with basic. Steven is really good at communicating. Thank you for sharing The Cabin with us.

Quiet Getaway

A great property and perfect base camp for exploring Gold Country. Like having a campground to yourself with the added plus of all of the comforts of home. Was a great solo (+dog) getaway and would be great for family trips and get togethers. Thanks for sharing your special place!

Cute and Cozy Cabin

Perfect for a weekend getaway in the beautiful redwoods. Secluded but plenty of activities at the property. Outdoor shower and restroom are actually very nice. Many more kitchen ammenities than expected and very dog friendly.

Wonderful Get-away

Steven's place was a wonderful, peaceful get away. The property is just beautiful and our dogs loved all the space. Steven was very responsive with questions and accommodating for us! Would definitely recommend!
