This is really a wonderful place to stay! So relaxing and peaceful when we come to race at Road Atlanta. Seeing our buddy Raisin is a bonus - he's the best and makes the trip even better!

The property was terrific. Centrally located to most of where we wanted to go in North Georgia. It was on a very low traffic residential street and far enough off the road to be totally secluded from the world. The cabin was great as it had a bedroom and separate full bathroom on each of the three floors. And the common space was lovely. Two areas I enjoyed the most were:1: the backyard with the amazing covered deck with a gas grill and the pebble patio space and hot tub. The whole space was wonderful and very relaxing. 2: probably the more impactful one was having a very friendly horse named Raisin on the property. My daughter was out there multiple times a day feeding that horse all the carrots he could eat. She will remember that experience far more than the cabin itself. Again all I can do is say thank you for make this lovely cabin available to travelers like me and my family.

Awesome location 5 minutes from Road Atlanta. The property and house were lovely. The beds were comfortable. Nice linens and towels. The kitchen was well stocked, the cookware in good shape. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the place is pretty old and needs a good deep cleaning. It was adequate, had obviously been cleaned for us, there was no apparent dirt, and I've stayed in worse. So most people would probably be fine with it, but 2 of the 4 of us had allergic reactions.

We loved staying at this beautiful little horse farm. The secluded property was very peaceful and serene for a short mountain getaway. We definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful retreat that is still close enough to anything you need.

The property and the management were extraordinary. What a gorgeous location! Dog friendly and convenient to Road Atlanta. I will be booking a return stay when I'll have more time to relax there Thanks so much!!

The house is very nice and everything was just as described. The beds are a bit firm, not badly so, so beware in case this an issue for you. Not really a complaint though. The property is far enough from town to be peaceful but close enough when you want something. I chatted with the property managers and they were super nice. The horse is great too. Loves carrots.

We had a nice time during our time here!! Check in process was easy! Salty Dogg & Kristi were always in touch with us and answered questions quickly. Hot tub was wonderful..Raisin was our best friend too! Everything we needed to cook was available! The only tips I would suggest are have extra toilet paper & garbage bags available on property & maybe get a mattress topper for the master bed..it’s very stiff. Other than that, it was near perfection. Great location, we did a fishing day trip, hiked, and ate out a some great spots..all within 15 min of the house! Thank you for the great stay!!

This was a wonderful place for our wedding night. The beds were extremely comfy and I never enjoy hotel beds. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen offered everything you would need and all cabinets were neaty labeled for easy accessibility. The hot tub was definitely the most enjoyable part of the experience. We had glasses of champagne and talked for hours in the hot tub. Excellent stay and I will be back for a couple weekend getaway!!!

An Amazing Fall Getaway at the Whiskey Barrel Farmhouse!Our stay at the Whiskey Barrel Farmhouse was absolutely perfect! The property is stunning in the fall-my kids and my dog had the best time playing in the colorful leaves. We even took family photos on the gorgeous wooden bridge, and the horse wandered into the background, making the pictures even more magical.The house itself was super clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The hot tub was such a relaxing bonus after our long days exploring and playing outside. It truly felt like the perfect autumn escape.We loved it so much that we’re already hoping to book again for Thanksgiving next year. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque, and family-friendly farmhouse stay!

The home itself was beautiful and in a great location, but unfortunately, our experience was ruined by a roach infestation that started on our second night. We began seeing roaches in the kitchen, and the next morning, baby roaches were crawling inside a loaf of bread we had just purchased the day before.I immediately contacted the property manager and sent photos. When she came to inspect, she pulled out the bottom drawer under the stove and found two sticky traps already placed there — one of which had seven or eight large roaches stuck to it. That made it clear the problem existed before our stay. She applied powder behind the stove and sink, but we continued to see baby roaches every night afterward.The manager said the owner would reach out about a partial refund, but no one ever contacted me. Later, I was told the owner would only refund one night, which felt unfair given that the infestation was ongoing and clearly pre-existing. To make matters worse, after our stay, I was charged a pet fee even though I had reached out multiple times before arrival (on the 5th, 11th, and 20th) to pay it in advance as they stated its to be paid 3 days prior to arrival. It’s disappointing because the home itself was lovely, but the cleanliness, pest issue, and lack of proper follow-up made for a stressful and unpleasant experience. I hope management addresses this properly for future guests.

We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the outdoor space- furniture not at all clean. The area was nice but we didn’t use. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes, etc. The fan in the downstairs bedroom was filthy. The grill was dirty and the hot tub lid was moldy- although the hot tub itself was clean. We did enjoy the quiet and horses. There was something that appeared to be spots of mold in the main floor bathroom wall

Thank you for your feedback-we will make sure to get the fan cleaned as well as the other mentioned items. If you visit again, let us know if any issues as Carla wouldn’t come right over to fix anything that wasn’t up to par as we work really hard to keep the farm great. On a sad note, one of our boys, the smaller horse Chutes, passed away a few days after you left so we hope you were able to enjoy him and give him some love during your stay.

Great quiet place close to Road Atlanta race track

Well furnished, clean, quiet (except for the cicadas, which I don't mind). Easy to get to, the hosts were great communicators. Don't forget to grab some carrots for the horses!

Great place to stay

We chose the location to be close by for a wedding. The home has everything you could ever need and more. The online description was perfect. Our communication before, during, and after the stay was excellent. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!
