Maui Banyan #H-405 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 4th floor with a partial ocean view, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 flat-screen TVs, a dvd player, and free Wifi. There is a California king bed and a queen sofa bed, a shower-tub combo in the master bath, and a walk-in shower in the guest bath. Window unit air condition in both the living room and bedroom. For outdoor activity, Maui Banyan #H-405 is supplied with beach chairs and beach towels. Sleeps 4.
A resort fee of $10 per day is included in the booking charges. Minimum is $30; maximum is $180.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 24 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Maui Banyan Resort is situated on 8 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds located in South Maui across the street from the popular Kamaole Beach Park II. This white sandy beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It is a 5-minute drive to the Wailea Resort shops, golf courses, and tennis courts. Maui Banyan features a swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ area, tennis court, and covered parking.

The condo was old but well-maintained, and it was cool thanks to the air conditioning in every room. Since South Kihei Street right in front of us was under construction, there was little traffic and it was quiet. Kamaole Beach Park II, the closest beach to the condo, left something to be desired in terms of water quality and the beauty of the beach.

The property was nice but you know it is an older condo. Everything worked but everything could be upgraded. Also lots of forks but only six or eight spoons and knives. Better selection of plates needed.

Checkin was simple, don't understand why the balcony is soooo narrow! Not very useful when you have to sit sideways....But everything was as presented online so no complaints!!

Good property in great location. The property needs a good thorough cleaning. Repairing the lock on the patio door, making that same door roll easily and quietly and cleaning or replacing the carpet in the bedroom would make it an even better place. I would definitely rent this same property again.

Except from a poorly working cheap toaster that should be replanced to the two uncomfortablr unpadded bar stools everything was quite good. i would recommend a few more plaes and glasses

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at the Maui Banyan before and had a much better unit for the same price. This particular unit was extremely outdated and had little to NO amenities. Be prepared to buy all your toiletries including soap toilet paper, shampoo, etc.

Nice for privacy, and there's a peekaboo of the ocean from the balcony.

Reviewer Comments: The unit is in need of updating. the appliances are old, the furniture is old and decor is old.Was the property description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc?the location was accurate.the layout is what you see in the photos.the washer an dryer are a plus. a full kitchen is also useful though we only used the refrigerator.Was the property clean and well-maintained?the Banyan is in very good condition.this unit was not to my level of clean. we immediatley washed the linens and cleaned the bathrooms.if the question is does everything work the answer is barely. the dryer is falling apart. the A/C in the living room has to be restarted because of the timer. the sliding doors need repair. the stove is from the late 70's.Did the owner or manager provide good customer service?service was impeccable.Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative?the Banyan YES! but this unit would be a no.What activities, attractions and restaurants did you enjoy?we went everywhere and had a great time

Not a good value for the money

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We paid a higher price for our rental with Maui Banyan due to its close proximity to a beautiful beach. We expected the normal AirBNB type policies of cleaning like we are housekeeping but what was confusing for us is that the place has a cleaning service that preps the rooms for the next visitors so I'm not really sure why this policy is in force. Our unit was very outdated and not very functional for the $400/night fee. Our bathtub diverter was busted and since we arrived on a Sunday they "weren't able" to get a plumber there so one day had busted plumbing in one of the bathrooms. Overall the room wasn't very clean or well kept and the stack washer/dryer was rusted and in dire need of replacement. The owners really need to put some of that money back into this unit or stop renting it out. The gentleman that communicated with us was professional and helpful but fell short as far as taking care of issues in a timely manner OR compensating us for the unit not actually being ready for us. I will not stay with the Maui Banyan or any of the related properties again after this experience, there are far better places to spend our money.

Great unit , bad bed

The bed is old and lumpy. They thrived to correct it with a mattress pad that kept shifting and wouldn't stay in place. Made for poor sleeping conditions. Underneath the mattress is falling apart and needs to be replaced. When you replace the matress lmk and I'd gladly stay there again.

Maui Banyan 1 Bedroom Condo

The property was nice and well stocked. Even the beach amenities were well stocked; beach chairs, Beach umbrella, boogie boards, and cooler. The pools and hot tubs were very clean and nice.
