We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The accommodations were excellent—beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The host, Monica, was wonderful, welcoming, and very responsive. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommend this VRBO!

This is such a lovely little getaway and a perfect place to stay. It’s a very comfy and well appointed home, and the area is so pretty. Tons of trees and right on the lake, with binoculars available for bird watching or seeing what’s going on at the quarry across the bay. It’s so peaceful sitting on the dock or in the rocking chairs on the back porch. My favorite moment from the stay was when we got back one evening and there was a gorgeous buck in the front yard. This place gets five stars, for sure!

Ill first start off with the amazing, the good and then the not-so-good-but-not-terrible opinion and personal experience.This place is clean as heck. No bed bugs, no cockroaches, clean bedding, clean everything. The house has everything you need to live here. From seasonings, to baking supplies, Tupperware, whatever you can think of- its probably here. Its a beautiful house on an even more beautiful lake. Its spacious and cozy. The backyard is absolutely perfect also. Place is easy to find and close enough to a nearby town, but far enough away.Bugs from outside got inside, easily. Little flying i-dont-know-whats. Easy fix, we just bought some spray- nothing that's not expected living near a lake. If you dont like bugs, dont come here. We were here in July and I've never seen more mayflies, spiders, mosquitos and all sorts of flying crawling things I've never seen before. But, like I said... if its not for you- dont stay near a lake lol. We didnt hate it, it is just something to note if youre scared... they exist here haha. If you dont like using open condiments that others have used/brought then buy/bring your own. Theres a large bright noisy factory across the lake that disrupts the beauty of the great outdoors at night for stargazing and fishing, but it doesnt disrupt my sleep in the slightest. Its across the lake, so I cant hear it in my bed but outside you definitely can- as theres also a train at the factory. Next is, the dressers had other people's clothes in them..

Host was super nice and we received instruction far enough in advance to prepare for the trip.Far enough away from city life to enjoy the peace and quiet while being close enough to enjoy going out.Beautiful property and would plan a trip again.

Our stay here was short, but great. I was very appreciative that Monica let us check in early since we were already in the area. This is a really nice location and a beautiful waterfront lot in Les Cheneaux. We have stayed here before and would stay again

Family Getaway

We had a lovely week with a daughter and granddaughters (5 & 9). They loved playing in the water and the yard was large enough for them to run around. We would have liked a picnic table. The house is very well stocked with all you should need, especially the kitchen. Short road trip to the Soo. My husband enjoyed watching the going’s on at Port Dolomite across the bay and the freighters in the port to load up. We will be back.

Lovely location and view

We were in the area for a family reunion so we really weren't at the house a lot during the day. We have stayed here before. The location is usually quiet. We did run into one night with being woke up at 4am, by loud talking people, but it was a holiday weekend. Cedarville is small enough for easy access and yet has everything you need. We really enjoyed the fireworks. The house itself is comfortable and clean. The owner is easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The washer and dryer were a plus with two small children. Internet would be a nice addition, but I would definitely stay again.

Great experience

Fantastic home to stay in! We loved staying here. There is nothing that I would have changed about this house. It was so clean, well-stocked, and beautiful. The beach access was a great way to spend mornings and evenings. The surrounding town and community was great. Overall, staying here was great.

Nice place

It was great. Nice place. The only thing was the dock. The water level was low and we couldn’t use the dock. The owners are in the process of building on for that issue. The owner made us aware ahead of time about the dock so there were no surprises. We recommend this place.

Slice of heaven

Beautiful view of the lake and bay. Great fishing in sight of the house. Dock worked great and was able to dock my 19' boat no problem. They only issue we had was we didnt stay long enough.

Gorgeous property! Serene and peaceful at the lake! I’d def stay here again. Just not with other people. I gave up the 2 queen rooms to sleep on the bunk bed and that was my fault! Great for family vacays!

Property is well maintained. We have stayed here the past 4 years and are always comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the host is very accommodating.

Clean comfortable stay!

This is an incredibly clean and beautiful older home on Lake Huron, with many interior updates. The beds were soft, the entire house was well stocked and the property was beautiful! The owner was easy to reach and they allowed us to check in early, which was great as we only had two nights to stay! It was an incredibly comfortable home and the yard was great for playing yard games and we thoroughly enjoyed the firepit. The only negative thing I would say is that the dock and boathouse/shed both need some attention. Both are very old and don't seem particularly safe (especially the dock). The paddle boats are in the boathouse/shed but we did not feel comfortable getting them out ourselves, especially since it seemed like the back door would have fallen off if we had tried (no hinges on one of them). So, we didn't get to use those.

Family Vacation

Could not recommend this property enough! Monica is a fabulous host and is very prompt in communication. Everything detailed in the listing was spot on and we were blown away by the in-person views once we arrived. Being able to see freighters loading at the dolomite plant across the bay was a treat! The dock afforded easy boat access. The house was spotless, tidy and well stocked. We will absolutely look to stay here again in the future!

Overall good property

Clean and comfortable home, located outside of town. Dock is more run down than it looks like online. Also, the view from the living room is the beautiful lake with full view of a gravel business with bright lights at night.
