Amazing! The house was even better than the pictures. The rooms were huge with high ceilings, the kitchen was extremely well stocked and they provided tons of beach towels. Of course the best part is just sitting on the porch and looking at that view. There was an issue with the WiFi but that was out of their control and the property manager did all he could to address it. Just a perfect vacation!

Very lovely home directly on a beautiful beach and in a convenient location. We were 6 adults and 3 young children. This house provided plenty of room and was very comfortable. We cooked our meals in the well stocked kitchen. The extra refrigerator /freezer was very nice. This house is very well maintained and beautiful. Due to the wonderful breeze we had everyday, we did not use the kayaks or paddle boards(on vacation and didn’t want to work too hard!) Truly enjoyed our week at Belle Mer Cottage.

Belle Mer was AMAZING! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including two refrigerators. Beds were comfortable with soft bedding. Lots of beach towels. You are literally 50 steps to the beach. Lots of toys and beach chairs in the garage. Communication with the property Manager was easy and fast on WhatsApp. Quick 10 min trip to the grocery and liquor stores. We will book Belle Mer again.

What a fantastic vacation! Our 3-generation last Spring Break together was unforgettable! Exuma is NOT like other tourist traps with high rise resorts taking all the open space along the coast, and lines of people for everything. Not this lovely place! Think of those dreams you have with your very own beach right outside your door, sleeping to the sound of ocean waves churning with the windows open, and walking down the beach sharing it with no one else in either direction. Yes, this is the place you want to be! Belle Mer has thought of everything you need and more. A garage full of beach toys, blow-ups, (and a pump too!), paddle boards and a even a kayak. My teen girls have NEVER had their very own King bed on vacation instead of sharing squished space in a queen bed. OK, the Masters golf was on TV, but the rest of us sat on the shaded deck and just watched the day go by. Getting up early isn't on teens' agenda but the sunrise's glorious show dominated our camera roll most mornings. We ALL made so many lasting memories that will last a lifetime. We picked the correct place to stay!!!

It was like a home I’ve always dreamed about. Absolutely gorgeous! So much space in the home….all of the rooms, kitchen, eating areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. I was there with my family of 9, 5 adults and four grandchildren ranging in ages between 7-12. The older two loved having the privacy oh the loft!But what we all loved the most was the spectacular view of the ocean. The kids spent hours in the water every day, using the boogie boards, etc. that were provided. Many sandcastles were made. Food from surrounding restaurants was great…just a wonderful experience !

We had the best time at Belle Mer! We were so impressed at how well stocked it was from the kitchen to beach towels to toys in the garage. Beds were so comfortable. The view is amazing! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Our family from Arizona and Alaska had the BEST time during our stay. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for our entire family of all ages. I would highly recommend this location for a low-key family friendly stay to disconnect and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches.

We had a great stay in this beautiful home. Fantastic location between the airport and Georgetown and right on the water. The house is well equipped and we had more than enough space in the two refrigerators and beverage fridge for our two families with 8 people. Sam (owner) and Norm (property manager) were very responsive to inquiries, which we appreciated. Highly recommend Belle Mer.

Great House

Centrally located on the island we could explore up and down the coast. The house was perfect for two families with 3 older teenagers, it’s just steps to a private beach with a garage full of water toys! Highly recommend this place for anyone with a large group.

2025 Fantastic Family Vacation

We had our family of 10. Ages were 2 to 64. This house met every need (including a portable crib for the 2 year old) and then some. Beautiful home with all the extras included. We did not have to buy rafts for the ocean, they were provided. Snorkel gear, was provided. I cannot think of anything we did not have that we wanted or needed.

Our stay at this incredible beachfront vacation home in the Bahamas was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning ocean views and the sound of waves just steps from the door. The house itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and spacious, with a modern kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed and cozy beds that ensured restful nights.The location is a dream—right on the pristine beach, offering instant access to crystal-clear waters and soft sand, yet close enough to local restaurants and activities. It truly felt like our own private paradise. Norm (the host) was exceptional & quick to respond with answers to my questions. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, making our vacation relaxing and unforgettable. We’re already dreaming of our next stay! If you want a true Bahamas beach escape, this is the place to book ..

Paradise

The design of this house is every bit as gorgeous as it appears in the pictures and more. We had 3 couples and 4 children in our group and there was more than enough space for everybody. The views from the living room are spectacular and all of the water toys in the garage made sure we were never bored. Can’t wait to come back!

True paradise!

This wasn’t our first time on Exuma, BUT it was by far our favorite stay. Belle Mer on Tar Bay is perfect. It is right in the middle and therefore close to everything and located on a wonderful beach. The pictures don’t do this property justice. “Belle Mer cottage” is huge with a beautiful island flair and all the comfort you need. The house is nicely decorated and well cared for. The kayaks and paddle boards added to the fun. The house was very clean and the check in process was a breeze. Communication before and during the stay was great. Norm ( the property manager and contact on the island ) was just a text message/ call away. We know we will be back - we would only stay at Belle Mer.

Exuma 2025

House and location are amazing. Had a wonderful time during our stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment to make family dinners. Spring water for the week was provided which was very generous. Owner was very responsive with our questions. Island residents are very welcoming and we felt very safe going out at night to dinner. Driving is easy on the island. WOW!!!!

Beautiful! House is beautiful and the views are incredible. One week went by so fast. House is exactly as described. Everyone we met were very friendly. Lost power a few times but the generator kicked in. Also lost water pressure a couple of times. Overall the trip was excellent. Can’t wait to return
