We had our kids with us and as they were exploring the house they found board games. That was a fun bonus. Nashville was only 30 minutes away so we hung out there through the day and came back and relaxed with the kiddos playing said games in the evenings. 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely loved this little cozy place. Very clean and comfortable. Has a lot of little signs around the house with positive sayings which is amazing. There is a coloring book with crayons to color a picture and leave a nice message to leave on the board. It’s interesting to see where everyone is from. Will definitely stay again

Quality time.
My wife and I had quality time with our grandson for 5 days at The Starlight Retreat. The location is perfect for hiking, caving, fishing, canoeing, history, and music. We visited the Hermitage and the Bell Witch Cave on this trip. There are plenty of good local restaurants, but the kitchen is very functional if you prefer to cook. The backyard is big and well-equipped. We enjoyed the firepit one night. The beds are very comfortable. Lisa is a gracious host and answered questions promptly. We would stay here again.

Nice property!
Loved the flexibility of check-in time. Lisa was very responsive to all inquiries. The bird's chorus was a bonus! Mother Nature didn't cooperate for us to enjoy the firepit and outdoor swing. Maybe, next visit! We would definitely book again.

This property does not disappoint!
We have opted for vacation rentals instead of hotels when we travel for work in recent years. The home was very clean and super comfy. Our host had basic necessities on hand too so I was able to run a load of our laundry.
We may have been slightly sad that the "extra" door didn't lead to a magical world. Lol! But seriously, we truly enjoyed being able to come "home" at the end of each very long day. Thanks!

Relaxing retreat
What a great home! We spent several days here while touring Nashville. This house was perfect! Kitchen had all we needed and a few extras like fresh popped popcorn! The backyard was very private and HUGE! Lots of outdoor toys to help make use of it. Furnishings were nice and comfortable. Our host was amazing and went above and beyond! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Nashville.

Starlight retreat gets 5 stars
The property was perfect for me and my kids during the softball tournament. Cozy, clean and a big yard for my very energetic 4 year old to let loose.
Would absolutley recommend the owner and her property

Great place
Very comfortable and roomy place to stay for 1 week. Beds were very comforable and kitchen and living room & bathroom, were perfect for all our needs. Lisa is a very friendly host. I would highly recommend others to check the place out.

Country site to relax from city high life
Check in good Facility adequate. Kitchen small; would not plan to prep/serve meals. Big bed we used was fine. Bathroom kind of small with no stopper in tub. Solved problem with “new car odor” by unplugging air freshener by desk. All in all, adequate and comfortable for our visit to Nashville.

Thank you for your review. It helps others learn your perspective about the property, as well as how we can celebrate where we succeed and improve where necessary.
The size of the kitchen has worked very well for guests in the past; whether it's a group of friends or families with children. It is an eat-in kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig (coffee supplied), double sink and two counter spaces. Also, thanks for making us aware the tub stopper was not there for your use. I will be sure it's replaced once our current guests check out tomorrow morning. I know parents with little ones especially appreciate the tub for bath time.

Just what we needed
Lisa is amazing and very easy to work with and she goes the extra mile to make it feel like home away from home. We are already planning our next trip

Starry Nights & Stargazing-
Few rentals offer a sky like this! Guests can enjoy a clear, dark night where the stars truly come alive, often spotting both the Big Dipper and Little Dipper from the backyard. Combined with your fire pit evenings, this creates a magical, memorable experience not found in most Nashville-area rentals.
Peaceful, Private Country Setting-
The home offers a quiet escape from city life while still being only 20–25 minutes from Downtown Nashville. The combination of large yard (1.5 acres) and scenic surroundings gives guests a true “country retreat” feel, ideal for families, couples, or small groups.
Huge Outdoor Space for Play & Relaxation-
The property features a big yard perfect for kids to run, families to play, or guests to simply lounge and enjoy nature. It’s rare to find a rental this close to Nashville with such a spacious, open outdoor area.
Birdwatching & Nature-

With nearly a decade of hosting experience, your attention to detail, smooth check-ins, and genuine enjoyment of welcoming guests make stays stress-free, comfortable, and personalized. This level of hosting adds warmth and trust that many properties lack.
