My stay at the gray loft was disappointing. When you arrive, you receive a care box with all of the ‘essentials’. It included two laundry pods (one of which are intended to wash the linens with when you leave), one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels (among some other things). I would expect it to be easier for guests and hosts to just have a stock of these items. This is not my first experience renting a tiny home, and I have always been provided with an excess of essentials, especially considering there are very few stores short of a 30min drive. Everything else stocked in the home seems to be bare minimum, such as scratched up pots, pans & utensils that could use replacement. They do not advertise that this home is one of several tiny homes situated on the same lot, next to a noisy highway. We were expecting much more seclusion, instead we are staying about 15 feet from other renters. The hosts claim that the property is cleaned prior to guest arrival. We’ve noticed several things (such as a cracked wine glass, the imprint of a suction phone case on the bathroom mirror, etc;) that imply the property was sloppily prepared. Lastly, the bugs! This is not our first day in the blairsville area, so we were expecting to see a couple small bugs. On the second day of our stay we noticed an infestation of sugar ants on the countertops, as well as a large spiders. The only good thing I can say about this stay was its proximity to the state park. Not worth the price.
