It was my daughters and my second trip to the Raven House. We love this place so much because it has such a peaceful feel about it because of the care put in building it. We experienced torrential rains and flooding at the time, but the cozy atmosphere of the place made it a great reprieve for us. Chrissy is also very attentive and friendly and she made sure we had plenty of firewood for our stay.

We take great pride in providing a beautiful and unique family home for families to enjoy. We require a guest maximum of only 7 and you listed 2 adults arriving at the Raven House when booking, however 9 guests were present in the home during your stay. Furniture was left out of place, dirty dishes all over the kitchen, broken shampoo bottle, and trash that had to be bagged for proper disposal. Please do not rent my home in the future. House policies are in place to protect the historical value of the home as well as make sure guests are comfortable and future guests arriving have a pleasant stay with the amenities they are promised. You did not follow any checkout requests so not sure the reason in mentioning them. Good luck in your future VRBO travels.

We enjoyed a few nights here exploring the Jemez Springs area. The home worked well for us (2 couples) with plenty of space. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked, the deck view lovely. The house is a little quirky in a fun way with some artful touches. The host was a great communicator and very accommodating. There are so many things to do nearby. Highlights were hiking at red rocks, Valles Caldera, a drive to the Gilman tunnels and Jemez hot springs. The only criticism I would have for this home is that the sofa seat was very uncomfortable, like you could feel the frame poking through the cushions. We combatted that by using the outdoor chair cushions under our bums. Otherwise, all was great. Thank you for sharing the home with us, Chrissy.

Beautiful location and property. Would recommend for all. Easy access to main road with close proximity to Jemez Springs and Valles Caldera. Local brewery/pizzaria is a must stop.

Raven House is the best place to stay in the Jemez Mountains. From High ceilings, cool Floors to art supplies and a hot tub, comfortable cozy and relaxing. Such a great experience—only sorry we couldn’t stay longer!

We had a wonderful vacation. The house is beautiful and comfortable and has everything you need in the kitchen to cook any meal you want, including an assortment of spices! We cooked Thanksgiving in July, and even had a big turkey platter! And I can’t say enough about the view. We would sit out on the deck and gaze at the ever changing colors and patterns on the cliffs across the valley every chance we got. There is so much to do and see in the area, too. If you like rugged, beautiful scenery, hot springs, and history, you will be very happy here. Rockhounds and birdwatchers will be delighted, too! The location is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful, and the house was obviously built with love and you can feel it.

I came right behind you and just sat on the porch tonight with my daughter eating our steaks wondring if anyone snuck in those caves across the way….the weather was nice too. You just cant beat the thoughts of “what might have been” when you look out off the porch, you know? Safe travels!

Raven House was a wonderful base for our family trip to Jemez Springs. The single-floor layout has a great floor plan that worked beautifully for our group of four adults and a toddler — easy to move around with no stairs to worry about. The house has lovely views and a tasteful artistic design that makes it feel special. Super convenient location for exploring Hwy 4 and Valles Caldera. We had a few small issues during our stay, but Christine was incredibly quick to respond every time — she made us feel taken care of. Highly recommend!

The home is comfortable and has a nice layout with separation between bedrooms that provides privacy. The views of cliffs are marvelous, and there are nice places to sit outside. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

The view is amazing and definitely breath taking great hiking and hot springs also close to town.The kitchen was fully stocked with any type of cooking pots dishes utensils. The house was very clean we had no issues it’s a beautiful home.The Host is amazing any questions I had she responded quickly. I will definitely go back a great time .

Beautiful property! Nice location. The owner was very responsive. Checking in/out was easy. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It was so nice to relax on the deck and enjoy the scenery after a long day of hiking. We would definitely stay there again.

This beautiful house has everything one needs to enjoy completely private vacation. Loved the tall cathedral ceiling, airy feel and artistic details throughout the house. The mountain view from the windows is simply outstanding; it was simply breathtaking to wake up with such view. The house has all the necessities and more; there were two of us so we enjoyed huge space to ourselves. Location is just perfect, close to everything but very private. Enjoyed our stay greatly.
