This property has a lot of potential. It’s cute, remodeled, and stocked with many necessities, but unfortunately cleanliness and maintenance were significant issues, especially for the price.Upon arrival, the countertops were dirty, dishes had been put away dirty, the floors had not been properly vacuumed or mopped, and there was grime on doors and cabinets. There were no cleaning supplies, so we purchased our own. I sent photos to the property manager, who offered to resend the cleaning crew, but we declined because we didn’t want to spend our vacation dealing with it. I offered for them to come by to see it but they are not near. We also reported a refrigerator leak that ran under the cabinetry. We were told no one could come until Monday, our departure day, so we kept towels down to manage the water. The kitchen drain also clogged during our stay. Outside, the patio, cushions and grill were very dirty, with food under the table and trash in the yard. There were also thousands of tiny ants around the dock. They didn’t bite, but crawled on us and everything we set down, so we bought ant spray.The worst part came when leaving: the ants had infested our vehicle, getting under the mats and around the vents. We spent extra time trying to remove them and continued dealing with them after arriving home.With better cleaning, maintenance and pest control, this could be a great property. Unfortunately, we would not stay again.
