This condo was good but definitely left some things to be desired. My biggest complaint is they seemed to be halfway thru a repair to the baseboards and the wall. There were many pieces of missing wood along the wall and doorways and large areas that were mudded but not yet repainted. I was surprised they considered it ready for guests in that condition. Bedsides that, the place was very clean but pretty simple. (Missing some things that other condos often have: a few board games, a step stool for the unusually high/deep bathroom counters, adequate hooks in the bathroom, a clock/sound machine in the bedrooms). Overall it was good. Beds were comfy and clean. FYI the back bedroom does not have a window (I missed that in the photos). Balcony view was lovely. Property is nice and the pools were clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the beach. Parking was easy (after getting the 50 pass). Location was convenient to many things in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Would stay at this building again but perhaps not this particular condo.

Needs major deep clean. Would like to have known they had some maintenance going on. Not that interfered with our stay. Sink in guest bathroom slow to drain. Could have used more toilet paper, had to go purchase extra. Couxh was not comfortable at all and had quite a few stains. Overall 3 stars.

We loved the condo, the views are beautiful, the easy access from the pool to the beach was a huge plus and the beds were very comfortable. This was actually our second consecutive year staying here and we were hoping to return again next year. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by an issue that arose on Tuesday. The neighboring condo experienced leak and DRI had to place five industrial dehumidifiers in our unit, along with hoses, running to a sink in the hallway bathroom. While we completely understand that emergencies happen and the DRI team was very professional and courteous, the equipment was extremely loud and made it difficult to relax, have conversations, or even hear someone entering the condo. In addition, furniture had to be moved and workers needed to access to the unit multiple times throughout the week. The dehumidifiers remained in the condo until Friday the day before our departure, meaning this disruption affected the majority of our vacation. I reached out to the host regarding the situation, but did not receive a response. I also called on Thursday and was told by liquid life I would receive a call back within 3 days but I have yet to hear from anyone. Given the amount we paid and significant disruption to our vacation experience I was hoping for some acknowledgment of the inconvenience, whether through a partial refund or a discount on a future stay. Overall, the condo itself is wonderful, but the lack of concern was disappointing.

I also apologize you did not receive a timely response from our team — that is not the level of service we aim to provide. I’ve escalated your feedback to our operations and property management teams and opened a review with the vendor to determine what happened and why the equipment remained in the unit so long. This is the second summer we have stayed at Escapes to the Shore. We enjoy the property and nice beach access. This unit however had some hang ups. To start, communication with the manager was poor. I still have 2 unanswered messages out to them and I’m headed home from our stay. The unit is crazy bare bones. I’ve stayed in many many short term rentals and this was the most expensive with the least amount of helpful items in the condo. (I’m talking no salt and pepper, oven mit, sugar, coffee filters- super basic items that are not provided.) The condo door also does not shut completely. You have to push hard to shut it or it stays propped open. Most annoyingly, the dryer requires 3-4 full high heat cycles to dry a standard load. This was a big deal the whole trip to ensure my family had clean towels and clothes. Lastly, the couch had some questionable stains that really should have been scrubbed and wiped off from prior tenants..

Great place for family vacation

Beautiful views and easy access to enjoy beach and pool. My husband was so excited to not have to mess with a beach wagon this year. Beds were amazing. Only complaint was master bedroom was warm at night and other bedroom was a bit chilly. We will be back and hope to stay again next year!!

Enjoyed room but the balcony chairs had 99 cent cushions in a half million dollar condo. A couple of other cheap little things like that. Also took a Dayton finally find the Wi-Fi password. It should be displayed to avoid confusion. Room was very clean though ewe have no major complaints

Decent place

The location and condo were nice. Great view and had lovely amenities both in and around the condo. The downfall was the master bedroom mattress. Very uncomfortable, so much to where both my husband and I ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room! We didn’t let it throw a kink in our trip! Again, nice place but think twice if you are willing to forgo good sleep.

Gulf coast escape

Great vacation to the beach. Beautiful white sandy beach. Tons of shops and restaurants within a few miles. During the winter, it was nice to have the sauna, hot tub, and indoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Grandbaby’s First Trip to the Beach

This was the perfect condo for a couple of old fogies and a young couple with a new baby. There were basically two master suites so you had your own space but plenty of seating in the living and dining areas to get together to eat or hangout and play games. The beach was beautiful and not overly crowded. And the indoor pool was a nice reprieve from the sun for the baby. There was plenty for the young couple to do in the evenings while we watched the Grandbaby. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Huge and so comfy!

This property is fantastic, location is great and this condo was super nice for two adult couples. We were a little bummed there was no beach gear, like we’ve had at the other places we’ve stayed but overall, we loved this place!

Very comfortable

Very clean property, easy to access, great location, and great amenities! Right on the beach and 2 great pools. And very easy to door dash food too for those lazy days!

Beautiful unit!

We loved the big couch…boys slept there. Beautifully decorated. Plenty of sleeping space for our family & MIL. Hairdryer did not work in master bath and the dryer is on the fritz. Enjoyed our stay!
