Casa Las Palmas- Rooftop Loft: Great location near lots of local restaurants, pharmacies, and bakeries. We met the property manager and she was super nice and gave great recommendations for restaurants. Neighborhood felt safe to walk around in- just be extra vigilant crossing streets due to the scooters. Just enough amenities for a weekstay- full fridge (extra upstairs), small stove with pans, kitchen w/cups & plates, coffeemaker, toaster, and microwave. Good water pressure in sink and shower. Loved the option of large pool downstairs or small jacuzzi on rooftop. AC worked great to cool room but fan is loud and squeaks. The AC does not reach the kitchen or bathroom so they stay warm and humid. Bed was comfortable, pillows could be better. Restroom had small closet area, would've liked dresser in room. Internet was spotty and eventually just stopped working- we opted for phone data (Jaime was responsive and apologetic about the wifi). It rained almost ever night and water leaked in through gaps in door so we kept a towel on the floor. Nights can be rough- a window whistles if there's too much wind and neighborhood dogs sometimes bark.

What a perfect place to stay. We were looking for something a bit away from the touristy center of town, and definitely away from the all inclusive resorts, we wanted the REAL Cozumel and we got it. The neighborhood is fine and the apartment was beyond our hopes. We cooked in the kitchen every morning, then ate breakfast on the roof, which is the real secret to this property. We figured we'd want to hang out in the pool at sunset each day and we did but we were surprised how MUCH time we spent up there, breakfast before we headed out for the day, definitely sunset, epic, but also at night we enjoyed hanging out up there star gazing, listening to the sounds of the neighborhood and really soaking up the vibe. There's a public park a block or two away and we enjoyed watching the kids play soccer and pickup basketball every night.

Exactly as described—and honestly even better in person. The private rooftop pool and patio quickly became our favorite place; we spent most of our time up there soaking in the quiet, the views, and just slowing down together. It was exactly the kind of peaceful reset we didn’t even realize how much we needed.From the very beginning, the host was kind and responsive, which made everything feel easy and welcoming before we even arrived. The condo itself was very clean, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home.One of our favorite unexpected little moments—we got to “babysit” a nest of baby birds on the rooftop while their parents were apparently out for the evening It ended up being one of those small, simple things that made the stay even more memorable.We are so grateful for our time here. It gave us space to rest, reconnect, and just enjoy being together. We would absolutely stay again—thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us

Our stay was really nice. We enjoyed the upstairs deck as well as the mid level deck. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The pool was a little chilly but nice midday.

100 percent would stay here again. I recommend a mirror in the kitchen. Just so when the bathroom is being occupied by your significant other you can get ready and not have to wait. Amazing food recommendations. Amazing location.

What a great place to stay in Cozumel. The roof top condo was complete with a comfortable king size bed, stocked kitchen with everything you could need, including drinking water and some spices and oil, new frying pans and many appliances. Bathroom was nice, water was hot, nice closet for storage. Large TV and great Wifi. Condo was super clean upon arrival. Roof top area was great, pool was awesome and nice sunset views. Host was very responsive with any questions or issues.A few ways to improve this condo to be perfect:- More towels for a one week stay- A lounger on the roof top- Hooks or a coat hanger for hanging towels and clothes- More outdoor furniture in the common area

This place is beautiful. I definitely plan to stay again. The rooftop pool looked bigger than it is but it was still very nice! Bed was extremely comfortable,and house felt very secure. Host was extremely responsive to the few minor issues I had.

Jaime is super responsive to requests. The unit is clean and bright. It is in a residential area so a bit of a walk to get places but finding small cabs was easy if needed. The WiFi was a bit spotty which was tricky using Google Maps. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Such a great place to stay. Seamless check in and out. Received instructions on the app and everything opened up and unlocked like it was supposed to. The room is very nice and clean. The bathroom is very nice. It has a closet and shelves for all of your clothes and belongings. Kitchen has the essentials to prepare a small meal. Nice sized fridge. The bed, in my opinion, is very comfortable and the pillows are nice as well. The deck right outside the door is good spot to hang out in the shade. The rooftop really is the spot to be though. It has a sink, and a fridge(same size as in the apartment) and a charcoal grill. TV and WiFi worked upstairs to stream. Two regular setting chairs. A couple of layout chairs upstairs would be nice. Look around for light switches at night. It’s super cool once everything is lit up. The pool up top is bigger than I thought it was going to be. For being in full sun the water was quite cold. So much so that we hardly got in it. This was my only issue with the whole place. It really is a sweet setup and I know there is nothing that can be done about the pool temp. I was under the impression that it was private for only the people staying in this particular unit but we did have some visitors up there 1 night that woke us up. Main roads are to the south and the west only a couple of blocks away. Plenty of places to eat and shop for essentials or anything else. We rented a car but there are plenty of taxis on the main roads.8/10 would stay again

Jaime is a great host. No issues whatsoever. He has 4 villas now, but you cannot beat the upstairs villa with the roof-top pool. Beautiful property. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Place to Stay!

This was our second stay at the property. We are already planning our next stay. The property is safe and secure. It's a quite neighborhood. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool or on the upper lanai. Jaime was a great host and had good communication. The unit was clean and comfortable. Thank you.

Charming home base for exploring Cozumel

We stayed four nights. Loved the safe quiet neighborhood, rooftop pool, lounges, sunset and sunrise views, the whimsical wall murals, having a kitchen and Netflix. Snorkeled, went birding with Elvis Jimenez, visited the world class museum on the waterfront, and discover 100 Experiences, a delightful culinary exploration of Mexico just next door. Birds Eye view of Cozumel

We stayed in this incredible studio apartment with private rooftop lounging area and pool. Every morning enjoying coffee relaxing on a very large lounge area equipped with comfortable lounge chairs. Many birds to watch and enjoy. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. I would recommend renting scooters or a car to get around this beautiful area

Incredible Experience

My wife and I spent five nights at Jaime’s place for our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. Jaime was by far the best host we’ve ever had. His communication was exceptional—whether by text or phone, he was always available and responded within minutes to any question we had.As it was our first time in Cozumel, knowing we could rely on Jaime for recommendations and assistance made our stay much more relaxing. Whether we needed advice on local spots or had specific concerns about our stay, Jaime was quick to offer helpful answers. When we had a small issue with the water pressure, I reached out late at night, and by the time we woke up the next morning, it was already fixed—such a great example of his attentiveness and care for his guests.The property itself was pristine. The place was spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. The large HD TV was perfect for cozy movie nights. The bathroom, in particular, was a highlight—immaculate from the sink to the shower, which was a big plus for us as self-proclaimed clean freaks.Jaime’s local knowledge really enhanced our trip, and his attention to detail made the entire experience that much more enjoyable.
