The property was perfect for our family of 5 adults and one infant. We had plenty of room and the views were beautiful. The condo was clean and was exactly as shown in the photos. We loved the deck! It was close to many walkable restaurants. The facility itself had many amenities including an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. We did not eat at the restaurants but they all looked great and the menus were diverse. I would highly recommend if you are traveling to Ocean City, MD.

My family and I had a wonderful week at the beach in this condo. It was bright, clean and well stocked with everything with needed to make breakfast, lunches and a few dinners at home as well as extra cleaning and bathroom supplies. We look forward to staying here again!

Hotel itself is a bit outdated and the condo may need a good dusting on the walls and vents but when we opened the door, it smelled like bleach so I was happy. Everything was clean. Supplies for cooking and sweeping up and were provided. The back balcony had a perfect view of the ocean. The front balcony was great for people watching and sunsets. The owners were available if needed and so nice. Great experience

The property was beautiful and so were the views. The condo was exceptionally clean! The only issue we had is that the handle on the dryer was broken and was a little frustrating to have to keep putting back on but that’s literally the only complaint and we get that stuff like that happens. The resort itself was incredible and there was so much to do. But the condo was so gorgeous we had to force ourselves to leave it! So, so impressed with everything.

Outside pool was only open 1 of the 5 days. My family was injured in the inside pool and the resort employees did not care one iota, nor were they interested in maintaining a safe, relaxing environment. Won't stay at the Carousel again. Actual unit was nice.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear your family had a disappointing experience during your stay, especially regarding the resort amenities. The outdoor and indoor pools are managed and maintained by the Carousel Hotel, and unfortunately their operating schedules and safety protocols are outside of our control as individual unit owners. That said, we always want our guests to feel safe and have a positive experience, and we regret that this was not the case for you. We do appreciate your kind words about the unit itself and are glad you found it nice. The Carousel remains one of the most popular and sort after full service resorts in OC with multiple pools, ice skating rink, games room for children, easy parking, cleanliness and a pristine beach. The unit and Carousel enjoys a 4.90 star rating over hundreds of reviews, with a contemporary furnished and always spotless unit. The unit owners and premier host are proud of the facilities, unit, maintenance, and comforts provided to our guests. This is truly a 5 STAR unit, and very unusual with the comments in the review. In any event, the valuable guests in the future will enjoy a great family experience, both facilities and pristine unit. Best wishes, host and owner.

The view of the ocean is fantastic! Only downside was the floor which looked as though it had not been wet mopped. However, we hope to be back next year!

Our stay at the Carousel exceeded all our expectations. The unit was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. The large balcony was big enough for all of us to sit and enjoy the view of the beach. We have been going to OC for many years and the Carousel is now at the top of our list for places to stay. Look forward to booking again in the future.

Great place to stay! Has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Fresh sheets and pillowcases upon arrival are a bonus! Love that there's a starter pack waiting on the table with toilet paper, paper towels, a new Old Bay crab seasoning shaker, among other things. Alot of care has been taken in this place by the owners to ensure a terrific stay.

Beautiful Ocean City Condo

This is a very well maintained property in the Carousel hotel. All the amenities of home are provided in a comfortable and spacious open environment. A large balcony with a beach view to watch the sunrise and another at the opposite side of the condo to watch it set over the bay. All outdoor areas have many seats for multiple guests. The boardwalk is only about 15 minutes away. There is plenty of food options and entertainment in and around the hotel.I could go on longer about how much my family enjoyed this place, but I will just say it is great, and you will not be disappointed. The pictures provided on the rental site accurately depict how beautiful it is.

We will be back!

Overall our stay at the beach retreat condo was wonderful! Here are some details of our stay:-The condo is beautiful! Plenty of space and room, new, clean and comfortable. The balconies on both sides of the building make it so special to see both sunrises and sunsets. The views are worth every ! Beds were super comfy, couch too. Laundry was convenient- especially for washing bath and beach towels. It’s silly, but I can’t stress how awesome it is to have an ice maker and filtered water dispenser. We had 6 owalas to fill constantly and it was just perfect!-the resort is easy to navigate and clean. Beach access was perfect. - location is great for walking to shops and restaurants.Things that were less than awesome:- you can hear EVERYTHING from the people above you. When they move chairs, it’s super loud and made sleeping in the master and living room difficult late night and early morning. They clearly had kids because we could hear them constantly scampering around, singing, playing with balls or toys. We are parents so we understand, but if you’re a light sleeper- it may be an issue. The chair noises were seriously terrible. - the outdoor pool was closed all weekend. Big, big bummer. One of the reasons we picked this listing was because it had 2 pools. Also, the indoor pool closed early because a towel person went home sick- when I asked the front desk if it would reopen, they accused me of lying about the times that we saw posted for it to be open. Besides that, a

Hello Jessica, Thank you for sharing the feedback during your stay. The issues were brought to the attention of condo management AND will ask the condo owners of 1211 to invest in the slippers for their furniture legs to eliminate any disturbance in the future. This was the first notice of this in the last 3 years. The condo mgr has also addressed the comments with the Front Office Manager regarding the unfortunate experience regarding the indoor pool towel service. We appreciate the 5 star review, delighted your family enjoyed their holiday, and guest remarks to continue to improve services and maintain our 5 star rating. Thank you, and welcome back to see these items resolved.
