This guest was difficult from the start and made several inaccurate assumptions about the property. He claimed the furniture did not match the listing photos, which is incorrect. In fact, all of the original furniture is still there, and we have added newer pieces to improve the cabin. Throughout his stay, he made several other claims that were simply not accurate. It appeared he was looking for reasons to end his stay early and request compensation. He ultimately offered to accept a partial refund of his initial payment. After our interactions, I was relieved when he decided to leave, as the experience was challenging from the very beginning.

Thank you for your feedback. I want to sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations. Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, so hearing about hair on the sheets, hair in the bathtub, and toys left in the pool is disappointing to us as well. These conditions do not reflect the standards we expect from our cleaning team, and I understand why they negatively impacted your experience. Regarding the second-floor shower door, you are correct that it was damaged shortly before your arrival and unfortunately could not be replaced immediately. However, that does not excuse the other cleanliness concerns you encountered. While our cleaning staff works hard and often has tight turnaround schedules, guests should never feel uncomfortable about the cleanliness of their accommodations. We have shared your concerns with our team and will be addressing them directly to ensure this does not happen again. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and are sorry that your stay fell short of the experience we strive to provide.
