Work and relaxing

Very nice place. This was a remote working getaway with co-workers. We had a great time. Patrick checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. The house is well appointed and clean. The beach, even though it was low, was nice and we were able to walk it. Thank you so much!

Great place, great location

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean and well stocked with essentials and more. The view is fabulous. Owner communicated clearly and simply, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Would definitely stay again.

Together Again

First family gathering in a few years so we did many things that none of us had done before and our stay went well thanks to Patrick our property manager and his wife. We all really appreciate it!

Family Vacation

Beautiful home. Clean, clean, clean! Beautiful setting. Everything was as pictured. Nice to have kayaks. Kitchen well stocked with everything to cook. Lots of extras; paper products provided, soaps and bath wash provided, laundry need’s provided. Highly recommend this property. Hope to be able to return.

Amazing Property

Perfect location. Just minutes away from so many fun things to do. Beautiful bay with sandy beach, calm warm waters. Hiking trails/state park at end if the street. Two included kyacks were a huge hit with our group. Every detail thought of by the owner to make the home truly feel like home. Cannot wait to go back.

Wonderful Home & Location

We loved our stay at this home. Everything was very neat and clean, and it was stocked with all of the essentials that we needed. The location is amazing, right on the water and in close proximity to other tourist areas. The owners were so easy and great to communicate with - highly recommend and we would definitely come back here!

Beautiful house with stunning views

The property had a beautiful view and the host made our stay easy and delightful. The house was super clean and very well stocked with any items you may need for the perfect vacation. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the cheboygan/mackinaw area.

The property has a great view. Clean and plenty of room for everyone to move about. Thanksgiving was really nice and we had everything we needed. Property managers were very attentive and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Views of Duncan Bay

The views from the house of Duncan Bay were awesome. We stayed cozy warm inside the house and enjoyed the big windows to watch the few ships passing through the bay. The neighborhood was quiet. A surprise was the hidden entrance to Cheybogan State park at the end of the dead end street. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Plus. the homeowner even checked on us during the high winds and stormy night. The house is only 30 minutes to Mackinaw City and a quick ferry ride to Mackinaw Island. Its a short drive into downtown Cheybogan where we visited the farmers market in the city square.

Awesome Stay

Beautiful house and property. Awesome lake view. We were able to watch the ducks and swans on the lake right out in front of the house. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. And the owners are very nice. It was a joy to stay here.

Great place to stay with a great view

We loved staying at the Sandy Beach house. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax, a well-stocked kitchen to make our meals, and was cleaner than my own house! Patrick and Jean were very welcoming and were quick to answer any questions we had. When we arrived there were very strong winds off the lake, but the house was cozy and quiet. Patrick came the next day to clean up the beach, leaving it pristine (even though it was far too cold to be swimming anyways!). Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect Vacation!

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. The view of the bay was incredible! The house was very clean and seemed to have everything we needed for our stay! The bedrooms were very comfortable, and accommodating and fit our needs perfectly. The owners were very responsive to our questions! We have been staying in this area for the past 11 years and this was by far the best place we’ve stayed at!

Perfect beach house!

My family was looking forward to Labor Day weekend at the beach. The house’s position, clear water, beautiful view with sandy beach and the clean house made it even better than we imagine. It was a wonderful long weekend.

Taste of Lake Living!

We got lucky in finding this gem a day or two after Jean and Patrick made the property available on VRBO. Jean and Patrick were great to work with and very responsive. They put a lot of thought into making the property and accommodations perfect. The property itself is ideal for families – a quiet street, a wonderful beach, 4 bedrooms, 2 tables for dining (or playing cards!), a spacious deck and yard, etc. My mom and I kayaked out to the rock wall (edge of the bay) and saw the bridge. There is a long beach hike that you can take in the nearby State Park. Of course, we also swam, had a bonfire, and played a lot of corn-hole. We highly recommend Jean and Patrick’s property and would certainly consider staying there again!

Wonderful location

My sister, our brother, his wife and their two teenage daughters and I stayed for a week. I had a great, relaxing time. The cabin looked exactly as pictured. The lake access was terrific. It is a shallow entry so it is only knee deep about 50 yards. The sunsets were so beautiful. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen tools. There were toys, games and some movies on dvd. Pat and Jean were responsive to all of our questions and wonderful to work with. I am a first time VRBO user and this was the best possible experience thanks to Pat & Jean. Cheryl

Beautiful Beach House

This beach property was perfect for our family vacation Up North!! Great location with awesome views of Duncan Bay and great sunsets. The house was very nice and clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!!
