Welcome to Absolutely Shore!
Enjoy the beautiful sunsets while on the patio, enjoy an evening roasting marshmallow at the firepit or barbecue on the grill while you take in the peaceful view of the lake from the Adirondack chairs. Or on a night in snuggle up and relax under the heated covered porch or stay inside and enjoy a glass of wine.

Absolutely Shore is a perfect poolside stay. Take a dip just steps away in the heated pool or hot tub. Large 20-person hot tub, Olympic size pool and kids splash-pad outside your door. These outdoor pools at the Lookout, are heated and covered in the winter allowing for year-round enjoyment. Our new custom designed modern home features an open floor plan that includes the kitchen, dining and living room with all the amenities needed to have a great meal, watch a game on the 70" Class 4K Crystal Ultra HD LED Smart TV with HDR and an amazing Sony Soundbar/Sub-Woofer or have a fun night in playing family games. Enjoy BBQ on our grill and have fun conversations around our outdoor fireplace. You can even cozy up with a book and enjoy a glass of wine in the window seat on the main level. On this level you will also find a laundry closet with stacked front-load high-capacity washer and dryer and a full bathroom. We also have a foldable table in case you need more space outdoors for bbq/entertaining. Relax comfortably upstairs in 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, vaulted ceilings with floor to ceiling windows and a full en-suite bathroom.

Remember it is a No-Shoe home.

Also, the vacation home is within walking distance from the Lookout Park which features a children’s play area, large open field, pickleball court, outdoor fireplace, & community grill!

Nice ammenities, a house with potential

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a nice time at the Lookout and enjoyed our proximity to the pool with our young kids. The facilities were clean and the property management communicated effectively and reasonably about the fire impact on our reservation. The home itself was clean and as described overall however the furnishings were low quality and in several cases falling apart and several elements of the house were in operable upon arrival. Specifically, the front window blackout shades would could not go up or down, the washing machine wasn't draining, and there was a crack in the shower pan floor in the master that had clearly caused water damage under the shower over time such that it was flexing when you stepped on it. Oddly, every toilet paper holder was loose on the wall and the "fully equipped kitchen" had one knife that was not a cerated steak knife for cutting, there was no tupperware of any sort, no salt and pepper or oil, and nothing to clean counter tops with - all of which seem basic. The bedding on all of the beds was threadbare from over washing, the duvets were lumpy and had small holes, and the extra blankets in the closets were also old and matted. I don't know whether this falls on the property management or the owner but would encourage them to consider making a few more investments. We did report these issues and they offered us a small discount for the trouble but the sheer number of issues makes me wonder. The house suffices but it feels over priced for the quality.

Family Stay “Absolutely Shore” – Beautiful, Some Service Issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently brought our teen children on a long-anticipated family trip to Chelan and decided to splurge on a stay at The Lookout. It’s a beautiful community, and we stayed at “Absolutely Shore,” which is ideally located just steps from the pool. We especially enjoyed the BBQ, outdoor firepit, and all the great amenities like the UTV rides to the beach, the live music night at the park, the comfortable chairs and umbrellas, and the friendly vibe from other guests. The town is just an 8-minute drive away, which was super convenient.That said, we did run into two issues that affected our stay. On the last two days, one of the bedrooms lost power. The breaker box was behind a locked door, and even after two calls, no one came to fix it. Our teens were without power for over 24 hours — they couldn’t charge their phones, and unfortunately, my daughter broke her glasses during the night while navigating in the dark. The Lookout did offer a small refund that covered the glasses, but the lack of response was disappointing.Additionally, after we had fully paid for our stay, an unexpected charge was added for what was described as a city tax. I’ve been trying to get that amount refunded but haven’t had much luck. Just a heads-up to others: consider using a payment method that you can later disable or replace in case of unauthorized charges.Overall, The Lookout offers a beautiful setting and fun family amenities, but the service and billing practices could use improvement.

Lacking the advertised luxury

Reviewer Comments: The cost and marketing say it's luxury, but I couldn't even get guest services to provide a cutting board. There were a lot of things missing or broken in the kitchen and we were told they would let the owners know in case they want to fix it for future guests. A lot of other 'features' from the broken stove, to the towel holders falling off the walls made it feel cheaply finished. The amenities were nice, but it felt overpriced for the accomodations.

Nice location but house needs more furnishings

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly we were a pretty disappointed to find such a lack in necessities for something we paid a lot of money for. We've been going to the Lookout and Seabrook for several years so we know how most houses are stocked and have an expectation of it, considering the price. The dishes were missing a handful of items, there were only 3 butter knifes, but tons of forks and spoons, there were only a few cups and glasses but not really a full set of anything, there werent any large knives to cut watermelon or bread. They lock off the only space for pantry and for a family who is staying there for a week, i either had to have all of our food out over the minimal countertop space or i had to move all of the dishes out of one cupboard to the other so i had somewhere to put all of our food (which is what i ended up doing). There were zero coat hooks by either the front or back door so we didnt have anywhere to hang keys, dog leashes, etc, nor were there any towel hooks on the porch so we had all of our swim stuff hanging over all of the furniture. The bathroom hooks weren't good either, there's only 1 in each bathroom where multiple people share, and they were cheap 3M stick-on (not screwed into the wall), so one fell off the wall when we hung our towel on it. There also werent enough pillows for 6 guests which this house sleeps. Each main bed upstairs should have 4 pillows standard and then two for the pull-out couch downstairs. The bedding wasnt that great either, to be honest. It felt very college-apartment cheap instead of luxury vacation which is what the Lookout is meant to be. For $600/night, my expectations are that I’m staying in one of the nicest places one could stay, with upgraded, comfortable bedding, ample pillows, certainly at minimum, full sets of cutlery and dishes, space to put things away and organize, etc. This felt like the owners made very little effort to accommodate this property and it was disappointing knowing how much we paid to be there.

Living room furniture was very uncomfortable. Would have liked more blinds for privacy especially bathrooms. Having a side table on both sides of bed was inconvient. Not having the pantry available for 5 days of staying there was a bit difficult to navigate. Unfortunately, next time will choose another one of other 3 that we have stayed at recently.

We booked a last minute trip with only a couple properties available. Location was great and not noisy with the community hot tub right outside. Great overall location. Understandably smaller than the houses we stay. Our issue was the kitchen was ill stocked. Outside salt and pepper, nothing for cooking. No oil, foil, tupperware, etc. like the houses. Pans were very poor, some warped. Couch was different than pics and very uncomfortable to sit. Insufficient furniture on patio to enjoy warm evenings. Bedroom pillows were lumpy. So many better places in the community!!!

Meets Expectations

Location near the pool, winery and many parks cannot be beat. Love, love the location. I would love to return to this property. The ADK chairs and propane fire pit are fabuloso!! And yet, it's really basic. It feels like the owners did the absolute bare minimum to make this place serviceable. The furniture is so uncomfortable. No cozying up with a good book here. No napping on the couch or in the window seat because it's just not set up for that. There's a hug beautiful window seat, but no cushions or pillows or anything calling you into the space. Huge waste of space. And very little artwork or much to look at. Many blank walls leaves this place feeling sterile. One piece of artwork in the primary bedroom with the goop from the price tag still visible. And tons of Home Goods generic inspo pieces that frankly leave me uninspired. Needs more hooks for towels and hats and other gear to hang. We found ourselves needing to hang thing on door knobs, furniture, etc. which isn't great for the longevity of those things! And the loving room chairs look cool, but are simply uncomfortable. This place is so close to perfect, just needs a few more creature comforts. Another trip to Home Goods for a few more amenities and this place would be perfect!

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the proximity to the pool (note that you don't have any major 'views' from the property, but the pool proximity was more important for us. I would go back again in a heart beat! Major thing to note: All of these properties with the "steeple" type windows in the bedrooms - most do not have window coverings that cover the oddly sized portion of the windows. It gets SO BRIGHT in the mornings. In my opinion, eye masks should be provided like they do on long flights. Compared to other properties, there is not as much outdoor furniture. It would be nice to see some comfortable lounging furniture on the porch like you see at YOLO next door, as the chairs around the firepit do get a little uncomfortable after a few evenings! Again, loved our stay, these are just two small things to note. Thank you!

Stayed for the wine

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice facility/home. Enjoyed the kitchen, fire pit, and TV during our stay. Beds were comfortable, and the house was clean. Did not take advantage of other community amenities, but was in close proximity to great hiking and wine tasting around Manson. Only issue at all was the bright light at the pool, which remained on all night, shined through our window above the darkening curtains.

This home is conveniently located near the Vineyard pool and has a private Fire pit to enjoy in the evenings with family and friends. Our community is perfectly located near wineries, hiking trails, restaurants, and many other amenities. However, we truly apologize for the inconvenience you experienced regarding the light. Would Not Recommend for Families

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would not recommend this vacation rental for families with children. We almost exclusively stay at Airbnbs/vacation rentals, and we rented this particular home based on the location and "sleeper sofa" on the main floor. The "sleeper sofa" is a hard futon, and the main floor faces one of two busy pools in the community but has NO blinds or window coverings and zero privacy. This area should not be advertised as a possible sleeping area - it's not. We ended up having to buy an air mattress and squeeze it into one of the two bedrooms upstairs.We also had to buy a broom because guests have no access to a vacuum or broom to clean up crumbs after meals. Also, don't expect the home to have games or activities like most of the other homes in the Chelan Lookout. The Chelan Lookout employees were not responsive or helpful, including during check in when the door code didn't work (they forgot to activate it) and the pool key fob didn't work. We still had a good time, but this was a disappointing place to stay especially for the price.

Has Good Potential...

Reviewer Comments: Let me start by saying we have stayed at another one of these cute cottages a few doors down in the past, so am familiar with the properties. “Absolutely Shore” is really nice in terms of design, etc, but was a little lacking in some areas. The biggest issue for us was that there are no blinds or window coverings on ANY of the downstairs windows. It was a little like living in a fish bowl - especially in the evening, where there was zero privacy. Also, the amenities in the home left a little to be desired. The “basics” were there - and they were new, but it’s kinda of nice to have tall glasses or cups, at least...and maybe outdoor dishes as well. The couch was rather uncomfortable to sit on, and the place could use some a little more artwork. We very much appreciated how clean the place was, and the linens and towels were plentiful. Love the close proximity to the pool as well.

Great time in Chelan

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Other than there not actually being a gym, per the property description, and some guests getting wasted near the pool and guests using the pool and hot tub after hours and leaving glass bottles in the pool area; we enjoyed our stay. The actual home was nice/brand new with ample towels and supplies; but we could not turn off the lights outside and could use blackout curtains on all the windows to keep out daylight and heat, and blinds on the large windows in the front/patio.
