Great location. Beautiful property. Even closer to ocean than the pictures show. Very efficient check in process. Although work is going on at property, no disruption to our stay.

The condo was beautiful and the views of the ocean were fantastic. However, there were major problems during our visit. On the first night, there were hundreds of gnats on the ceiling in our bedroom. The management company was not available to come out at night to take care of the problem. The next day, there was construction noise outside the condo. We were unable to sit on the balcony and enjoy the views. The management company never informed us of the construction before we arrived. There were signs put up in the elevator about the construction, so the company was aware that the remodeling of one unit and the painting of the building would be occurring during our stay. The following day we went to turn the dishwasher on, and it would not work. The management company sent their maintenance person to try to fix the dishwasher, but it was not repaired during our stay. The management company did offer us a 30% discount for the problems. However, we later found out the discount did not take into account the taxes or fees we paid. Needless to say, our stay was a major disappointment, especially given how expensive this rental was.

The abundance of gnats was unfortunately an island-wide occurrence. While we couldn't respond overnight, we arranged for cleaners to come by the next day and did everything we could to minimize the issue. We also apologize for the construction. We emailed you about the scheduled exterior painting approximately one month prior to arrival after we were notified. Unfortunately, we weren't informed of the neighboring unit remodel and often only learn of these projects when guests do. The 30% refund included the associated taxes on the nightly rate. While mandatory fees cannot be refunded, we felt this was fair compensation given the situation. We sincerely regret that these circumstances impacted your stay. Beautiful Ocean view from this unit. The lanai was so comfortable, we sat out every night and listened to to the waves. Unit was equipped with everything we could possibly need and was just gorgeous and very comfortable. Looking forward to staying here again! Thank you for a great visit in Wailea.

Way beyond expectations

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The polo club and the beach are private and gorgeous. The building is really nice. This unit is incredible. Views of the ocean and the resorts around from the eighth floor are wonderful and you can see the sunset from your balcony. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything and more. Unit has two bathrooms so my husband and I were able to spread out. Patio chairs and table were very comfortable for relaxing and playing cards and eating dinner. Kitchen was great to cook in. We would rent this unit again for sure. If you are on the fence, do it!!

808 Polo Beach is amazing inside and out! Great location, close to everything but not too close! Wonderful views, I could spend the week just staring at the view from the balcony!

Wonderful Stay at Polo Beach Club

We had a great stay at this lovely property in Wailea. While the place was fantastic, we did encounter some communication challenges with property management. The app messages were not consistently monitored, leading to some confusion. Additionally, I missed a phone call (my oversight) as I was expecting a text reply rather than a voicemail. We requested an early check-in, which was not accommodated. Our request for a late check-out by 30 minutes was initially declined, but we received a notification the next morning at 9:30 am extending the check-out time from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. Instructions for accessing the music system were not provided, and there was no binder with local restaurant recommendations or activities. Despite these communication issues, our overall experience was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I recommend establishing clear communication with property management upon arrival and confirming the most efficient way to stay in touch. Aloha and Mahalo!

Beautiful view and lovely property

If you are looking for a quiet property in a fantastic location, this is it! The property manager was easy to work with and the check in process easy. We loved the beach and view. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location and beautiful condo.

This property was as listed. Kitchen has everything you could ask for. Washer and dryer were very helpful. There were beach towels, beach chairs and small coolers for our use on the beach. The beach is amazing. We had an issue with arriving later than we anticipated and the code to the condo did not work. I called the number that was emailed to use prior to arrival. There was no answer or way to leave message. After a couple of times calling the very friendly and helpful agent was able to get us the correct code. Stressful for a bit but they apologized and said they would make sure would resolve the ability to leave a message. I did reach out later to guest services during business hours on another minute issue and they were very helpful. Would book this condo again if available.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at other Polo Beach condos in the past and love the building and location. It is a quiet haven to relax and enjoy the ocean views and sounds. Our stay in 808 was the first time we had been on the top floor and it was very quiet but, the entire resort was quiet as we were there just after the Lahaina fire. Polo Beach is our favorite.
