Firefly Sky Lake House was a perfect place for a weekend getaway with the girls. There is plenty of space to stretch out, relax, play games, and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring a bit. The house is close to a few wineries and state parks, which made for perfect little outings. We would definitely consider this property for future weekends if it remains listed.

We were let in early and we appreciate that for sure but the kitchen counter had sticky stuff on it and the walk over to the dock is iffy not the best. And the grass needed cut. We still had a wonderful time and beautiful views

Matt was absolutely amazing to work with on our special trip. He was full of tips and pointers plus incredibly accommodating and responsive. The place is in a perfect location- right on the lake and feels secluded in the woods. Has all the essentials plus fun toys, games and relaxing fire pit. Everyone slept wonderfully and we all hope to return!!! Highly recommend

Large group for 4th of July on Lake of Egypt. Property listing is accurate. Worked well for our group of 11 with upstairs bedrooms and bunk room in the basement. Cove is deep and there is plenty of space to float.

Beautiful lake house! Perfect for a lake escape. The house is equipped with a lot of extras and has plenty of room for family to spread out and enjoy the property. The game room is a fun addition Beautiful lake views from both decks. Owners were very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend

The house was perfect for our family trip to the lake. There were 9 of us, and there was plenty of space to sleep and to hang out. The back porches were comfortable and relaxing and had great views of the lake. We loved the game shed and fire pit in the front. It was fantastic having the kayaks and stand up paddle board to use. We would definitely consider coming back!

The house was nice but needed some tender loving care. Had sever light that didn't work, The door lock was sort of had to get to operate sometimes. The boat house was good but the host forgot to say that there were 85 steps from the boat house to the house and the rock landing at the house and the boat house were pretty dangerous. I'm 78 year old and the climb was about to much, for that reason I would not rent the property again

The property is in a beautiful setting with back decks that are overlooking the lake. The house is spacious and set up with everything you need. I would love to stay there again if I have the need.

Race Weekend

Our crew was in town for the Tunnel Hill 100 and this was a great location at only about 25 minutes away from the race start and within 25 - 30 minutes of all of the main race stops for our crew. We were able to get some great rest in the day leading up to the race and the space was awesome for our group traveling in from various areas around the country to have some time to catch up around the table before the race. Beautiful spot.

Wonderful Family Reunion

We had a reunion with 7 of us. It was a great weekend! The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean and well stocked. We rented a pontoon boat and had it docked at the deck. We are definitely planning another reunion at the same spot!

Perfect Lake house getaway

We stayed here last week for a family trip. The house was as described the view, the dock and house. Not a fancy place but well maintained. This lake and rental is a hidden gem in southern illinois. We will come back again someday.

Solar eclipse

A nice roomy place. Nice inside & comfortable But the exterior & windows & window tracks needed a good cleaning. The uneven stones & no railing at the top of the staircase to get to the dock made it pretty treacherous for anyone with balance issues or a recent knee replacement like myself.
