Cleanliness: Within an hour of checking in, you filed for a full refund while also claiming you had been “cleaning for hours.” At that time, we offered to send our cleaning team to the property at your convenience to address any issues. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response to our calls or messages, nor did we receive photo evidence to verify the concerns. 2. “Fake photos”: All photos in our listing are taken by our professional photography team. They accurately reflect the property, as confirmed by our many past guests. 3. “Dishonest owner”: We’d be glad to clarify what specific situation you’re referring to, as our goal is always transparency. 4. Outdoor bench: Yes, there’s an outdoor bench by the front door. It’s outdoors, so it weathers. If that was the deal-breaker, we’ll go ahead and retire it. 5. Blood stains/dirty items: You listed several serious cleanliness issues, yet no photos were provided, and when we offered to address them, you went silent. Guests before and after you never saw anything remotely like this. We regret not having an opportunity to address your complaints. 6. “AI-generated photos”: We have never used AI in our listings so we will take this comment as flattery. The photos reflect the real property, supported by 50 five-star reviews. 7. Refund request: A full refund for an entire one-week stay was not possible under these circumstances. Instead, we offered cleaning and other solutions, but without communication from you, we were unable to move forward. Guests who stayed after your reservation did not report similar issues. Asking for a full refund of a one-week, $1k stay without giving us a chance to resolve concerns isn’t reasonable. We tried. You chose not to engage. 8. Pet policy: We welcomed your three dogs and did not accuse you of violating pet rules. 9. Alternative lodging: We understand it’s stressful to find last-minute accommodations, but that decision was made after declining our offers to resolve your concerns. That scramble was the direct result of refusing to communicate with us. 10. VRBO refund: Payment for your booking was received on our end. If VRBO refunded you out of their own pocket, that would have been their decision, not ours.
