Follow the North Star to your vacation oasis, with hot tub (open all year!), heated in-ground pool, large patio, and a fenced back yard, all just a few blocks from downtown beach/shops/dining!

This is a kid-friendly, pet-friendly home with a fully stocked kitchen and a grill right out back. Enjoy 4br/2ba, ranch-style living in a comfy home close to everything but that you just might not want to leave!
Use only plastic dishes/drinkware outside in pool/patio area.

No food or drinks in hot tub or pool!

No children to be unsupervised outdoors in pool/hot tub area - swim at your own risk.

No weapons allowed on the property at any time.

No smoking/vaping/marijuana use indoors at any time. Guests will be charged a $500 cleaning fee for indoor smoking and the ensuing odors that are difficult to remove.

Please do not sit on the indoor furniture in wet bathing suits.

Pick up after pets both in the yard and while walking in the neighborhood - leashes are required when walking in the area.

The house is cute and check in is easy. The pool and outside area is amazing and the location is great. The house itself could use a little love but I guess it’s a trade off since they allow pets and most other places do not. Overall would stay again!

We had a wonderful week enjoying this property and all it had to offer. The layout of the house lent itself to many adults and a toddler . The outside area was great for eating outside, as we played all day in the pool! Overall the property was very clean and gave us all a relaxing vacation. The only complaint would be the ladder access in the pool. We are mostly older and the ladder situation was very difficult. Stair access would be helpful. We would consider revisiting however the increase in cost for next year seems excessive so we will be looking for a different property.

House was beautiful and clean. Pool was wonderful to have and close proximity to the beach. Just a couple of things would have made it perfect. The air conditioning was unusual. The master suite was always very warm but the kids bunk room was always very cold. Rest of rooms were normal. Plus, AC must have been preset as every morning AC was at 80 so we were always turning it down. The fan in the room with single & double beds worked, but it was extremely loud so you couldn't use it when sleeping or napping. We did not call to complain as neither item could be fixed easily and we were only there 3 days.

I booked this house just under a year ago in July 2025. We booked knowing how many/style of beds and when we found out 2 days prior that they changed it we had to bring some air mattresses. I was not notified that they did some remodeling and took out a set of bunks. We arrived at 4pm to find a pool company repairing the lining and they had to come back the next day to finish the job. Allegedly they found this out at 2pm the day we checked in. We were able to be in it but it wasn't full until late the 2nd night so we had 1 full day of it being at a normal level. The house wasn't very clean. Webs/dust everywhere and fur balls and other dirt under the couch and on the floor in living room.We did love how close it was to town. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store.Overall the place was nice. Just needed a few little things

The host was great to deal with and very responsive. The house is well stocked with all the essentials. The pool and hot tub were great and enjoyed by everyone. The pool toys were in poor shape so I’d recommend bringing your own.

We had a wonderful first time experience in New Buffalo and in this house! The house was well equipped and spacious. We were outside a lot using the pool and enjoying the soghts, beaches and restaurants in the area. Walking to town was easy which was wonderful. Our host was readily available- though we did not need to connect except once! I would recommend this house to a large family!

Great backyard space to hang out. Awesome location to walk and explore the area and an easy drive to other spots along the lake. The few minor issues we had were quickly communicated and addressed with the owner, so the trip went on without a hitch.

Another Exceptional Visit

We have stayed at this property 7x and it was another great experience. Peaceful and quiet setting and with the hot weather, the pool was used extensively. Walking distance to everything and the neighborhood is perfect for walking our dog.

Disappointed

We were looking forward to our trip to New Buffalo, but unfortunately, this property fell short of expectations. The hot tub was unusable due to being filthy upon arrival, and the pool had no ladder or steps, making it unsafe and extremely difficult to get in or out, especially for kids or older guests.What made the situation worse was the lack of communication from the owner. I reached out promptly to try and resolve these issues, but after several messages, I received no response. That lack of follow-through was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional, especially when you're paying a premium price for amenities that aren’t functional.This home has potential, but the current lack of outdoor cleanliness, safety concerns, and poor communication made for a very disappointing experience. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests.

We are sorry you had a frustrating experience. To be clear, you reached out AFTER your stay, rather than contacting us immediately while you were at our home. That's unfortunate as we do everything in our power to resolve any issues promptly, and have an excellent service team. But if we don't hear from you until after your stay then that opportunity has been missed. Per my email to you, my delay in response was due to a family emergency that took me out of action for a few days. I apologize as that's not your problem, but it couldn't be helped in this case. For those reading the review, we most certainly do take this feedback seriously, and that is why I have to make a rebuttal here. Our pool and hot tub are serviced every Tuesday and Friday - you sent me photos of the hot tub on June 15, over 10 days after your departure and only after I requested them to verify the situation. Again, if you had called me immediately we would have had our service team out promptly to handle the situation. The pool ladder needed to be replaced and unfortunately that wasn't done prior to your arrival, but will be soon. You may or may not decide to visit our home again, but if you do I certainly hope that you will take advantage of my clearly posted phone number and the fact that I live locally and respond personally to any questions or concerns you may have during a stay.

Friends reunion

loved the property, it is laid out well The pool and hot tub are nice. The hot tube could have been cleaner and the weather was to cold for the pool. The only draw back ,was the lack of parking space. We had 10 guests, none road together , so we had to shuttle from other locations.

Comfy home

We came in town for a family member's wedding. This property was great! There were a few questions I had, to which the home owner fixed or took care of immediately. So no complaints! Heather was amazing and was on top of responding to me or keeping me up to date. I will say though... either the water heater is on a timer or it will need replaced soon. It seemed the hot water was gone quick. *(We tried quick showers and gave it a reasonable time for it to fill up.)* And when you have multiple people needing to shower for an event, it was cold. So I would check with her about that, before staying again. Aside from that, it was a great house to stay in! It was a great house to entertain and feel comfortable in. And the neighborhood was super quite. Thanks for everything Heather!
