We were so excited to come to this cabin for this weekend. We were celebrating our 20th Anniversary early because of scheduling conflicts on our actual anniversary date.The location was beautiful. The cabin was very nice and everything was great until 6:45am on Sunday morning. The water did not work. The toilet could not be flushed. No shower.....no coffee could be made. I texted the emergency contact number listed with what was going on. I was told to call Brown County Water Company. Not sure why, as a paying guest, it was my job to do that, but, I did. The lady at the water company was very nice, but, could not give us a time that someone would be out to fix it.I texted the emergency number back to let them know that we were on our way to turn in the key because we both truly needed to use the bathroom and we were wanting coffee and food. This was over 4 hours before we were required to be out of the cabin. After awhile I received a text back letting me know that the water line was out of their control and to have a safe trip home. While I understand that it was out of their control........we called the water company ourselves. We paid for a rental until 11am. We had to leave early because of reasons out of our control. I think some sort of partial refund or an offer of a discount in the future would be something offered to us. That has not happened yet.I would definitely recommend this cabin, but, would hope that someone would reach out to us to make the ending better
