The Peaceful Perch has a georgeous mountain view in Wears Valley. This beautiful cabin is just 10 minutes from Townsend and 17 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Come enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, game room, movie theater and more.

The Peaceful Perch is a fully furnished one king en-suite, a king and queen in an open loft, and queen bunk beds and twin bunk beds in the game room area. There are three full bathrooms total, one on each floor. With this, 12 guests can sleep comfortably.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dual coffee maker for drip or individual k-cups plus all of the essentials to create a wonderful meal. You may also want to grill on the Weber grill located on the back porch.

The open living room on the main floor provides great views of the mountains, porch, kitchen and 65 inch TV. The master bedroom with en-suite is also on this level and has its own TV.

Upstairs includes beds, bathroom, seating areas in addition to a huge multipurpose closet that can be used as a playroom for the kids or workspace if needed…remember, you’re on vacation😉.

Downstairs, you will find a theater with 85 inch TV and Sonos sound bar and subwoofer. The theater has 6 plush, electric leather seats along with 2 large bean bag chairs. Of course, there’s room for more seating so feel free to move chairs from the game room just around the corner or grab a few blankets to enjoy the movie or big game with your family. Enjoy Pac Man, NFL Blitz and Marvel pinball or play some pool while watching another large Smart TV hung in the game room.

House broken dogs are welcome. Please no puppies who are not housebroken, no puppy pads. No dogs who are chewers or who "mark." There is a $125 pet fee. Please inquire about multiple pets. There is a great fenced area your dog can go hang out and go to the restroom. However, please read the next paragraph.

The cabin is near the woods so you will probably hear and maybe see some “critters.” There have been bear sightings on our property so keep an eye out and do not feed them or leave food out on the porch. We don't leave our dog out by herself in case a bear comes through the area. If bears do come around, please keep your distance.

The hot tub is for everyone, however kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. Have fun but use the hot tub at your own risk.

While not steep or excessive, please note there are stairs throughout the property as seen in the pictures.

No late check-out or check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10:00 a.m. on their scheduled day of departure, there will be a $50 fee administered for the first half hour and $100 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.

No refunds for weather, natural disasters, power outages and other events beyond our control.

Wears Valley, where the Peaceful Perch is located, is a quaint mountain town situated at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains. This unique town offers many adventures and amazing places to eat. Wears Valley is also centrally located between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend & the GSM Park.

Relaxing Vacation

The property is in a great location and was very clean. Convenient to Pigeon Forge and to Townsend. The property is thoughtfully stocked: snacks, spices, great coffeemaker, kitchen well stocked with pots and pans for cooking, dinnerware for eating, doggie bags, and lots of candles. The grill on back patio was easy to use. The downstairs playroom and theater room led to lots of fun. Combination to front door was easy to use. Communication from owners was timely and excellent. We will definitely consider returning to this beautiful mountain retreat.

Great Cabin / Great Location

First of all let me say that Les and Lora were extremely responsive. Les was great to deal with and very accommodating. The cabin was as good or better than stated and very clean. Location is fantastic. Close enough to be convenient to Pigeon Forge, Townsend, Cades Cove, and very close to the Wears Valley attractions but also providing a lot of privacy compared to cabin communities. The theater room was fantastic. Wifi was fast. We brought our Yorkie with us and she absolutely loved the very secure pen in the back yard. Hope to return in the near future. April Vacation

The property was clean. Everyone enjoyed the game room and movie room. The view was amazing. Location was great. The Hosts were awesome. I could go on and on, our vacation was relaxing and enjoyable which was due in part to THIS rental property!! Would highly recommend. I hope we get to come back in the future.

Wonderful family vacation!

The hosts were very involved with our booking. I received emails about things going on in the area and reminders about our stay. The cabin was beautiful. The fenced in yard was the absolute best for our dogs. We definitely would go back.

You will not be disappointed. This property is exactly as described with wonderful mountain views, an excellent location, and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We had such a great experience that we plan on returning next year.

We live just up the road in Knoxville about an hour from the cabin. We got engaged 15 minutes from the Peaceful Perch and love the mountains which is why we have pinched our pennies for nearly a decade to purchase this cabin so our family and yours can discover the magic of the Great Smoky Mountains! We love people, travel and adventure which is why we love staying in VRBO's and hosting people at our cabin. We're not wealthy but have saved money and leveraged our home in Knoxville to purchase this cabin. Our goal is to make enough to pay the bills, our daughter's college and give more to our church, various charities, and some missionary friends around the world. Our hope is you and your family have a wonderful stay in the mountains whether it's at the Peaceful Perch or another property. These memories will last a lifetime and we're so blessed to be a small part of helping families create them!

Wears Valley is also centrally located between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend & the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We love this community and got engaged on Chestnut Top Trail just down the road.

The Peaceful Perch is a perfect name for the cabin. We thought about name while relaxing on the front porch looking at those amazing mountains. One of us said how peaceful this property makes us so we came up with the name. Without question, this cabin is amazing! Inside there are 3 levels to make lasting memories. Outside has so many options as well. There's nothing quite like relaxing in the hot tub as the sun slowly disappears behind those amazing mountains.
