At 600/night, this was astonishingly disappointing. Most importantly, the listing gave the WRONG ADDRESS: VRBO showed 3331 SW 29th Street, but the house is actually on SW 29th Terrace..The error matters because THE ACTUAL HOUSE SITS IMMEDIATELY BESIDE THE ELEVATED METRORAIL— something the listing does NOT disclose.The trains run every 15 minutes from 5 a.m. till midnight, and are LOUD, especially upstairs. One front bedroom also had a window that would not close, making the noise so extreme that we dragged the mattress into the master bedroom and slept on the floor until it was repaired.The pool was cloudy because the filtration system needed replacement. The dishwasher failed, was repaired, failed again, and ultimately had to be completely replaced during our stay. The downstairs bathroom exhaust fan dripped murky grey water and stopped working. We had ants throughout the poorly stocked kitchen (not even salt or pepper in those pretty cupboards) and utterly nonfunctioning living-room outlets. There were repeated repair visits during our stay.Management did respond and several items were eventually fixed, but that does not erase the crummy experience. This house photographs beautifully, but actual guest comfort and maintenance did not come close to matching the price.The undisclosed Metrorail noise and inaccurate address are especially unacceptable. We would never have booked had we understood the true location.I would NEVER stay here again.
