The property does not have AC unit upstairs. It only has it downstairs. There are window units but it does not cool down the house enough. The hosts were quick to respond and check in was easy. It’s an older house so you have to be mindful of that. A lot of the flooring is uneven.

I was so excited to reunite with my siblings in Bentonville to experience all the fun and amazing things the city has to offer. Instead, I was embarrassed of the property I arranged for during our time there. Pictures of the property do not show the following:1. Unsafe stairway, uneven risers with loose carpet-safety hazard2. Unbearable sewer gas stench from bathrooms3. Advertised as 2 bath but only 1.5 which makes the morning prep difficult if more than 2 people4. No grill-Ill equipped kitchen5. Uneven “funhouse” floor6. Window units in every room-kept things cool but horrifically loud7. Not a place for seniors8. Modern amenities not present9. This is a very old house that should either be pushed down or refurbished from the ground up10. Rodents in the back yardIf you do choose to stay here, set your expectations low. We were very disappointed.

Really cute house with some great art. Lots of room to enjoy and spread out. The beds were great and we all slept like a baby. Loved the kitchen and dining area. Like at home we all congregated there. Close to so much. We would definitely stay again.

Good communication, easy to find and get checked in. Location to downtown is excellent, nice neighborhood and so much to do in the area. Great parking area and outdoor covered porch area, bike storage and backyard chairs. Excellent A/C and well designed rooms with interesting artwork and local flair.

Great location and space close to trail access and downtown. The outdoor space is great for bike parking and relaxing after a good ride. Mattresses super comfortable. Only issue we had was the bunk bed room—the frame should be tightened to prevent the loud squeaking.

My review will be the 1-2/10 in a sea of 10/10's. The house is billed as "historic", if by this they mean drafty, cold, a non-working heater and uneven flooring surfaces, then they are correct. First impressions matter and my first impression was a worn out, unraveling doormat, a front door with the paint bubbled up all over it and what appeared to be rotting window sills on the driveway side of the house. The smell of "old house" hit you as you walked in and as we walked across the floors we found that they are very uneven, so if you have an elderly person traveling with you this is an unsafe place for them. The front door and up and downstair windows are drafty and since it was 19 degrees the night of our stay we felt all of the bitter cold wind. Additionally, the heat downstairs did not work. The only reason we stayed was because the space heaters in the upstairs rooms kept those rooms warm enough and at 10:00 p.m. it was too late to seek other accommodations. The upper bedroom of the two upstairs rooms had a banging noise that went on all night long that did not allow the elderly person who stayed in the room to sleep at all. We left the property three hours before we intended as the bathroom and the rooms downstairs were frigid.Upside: Brandie did offer for us to have other accommodations, but as stated earlier it was already 9:30/10:00 p.m and I was not going to find other accommodations 20 degree cold and high, blustery winds.She did approve a partial refund.

We had just a one night stay with my mom and sisters. This was a great location and great house for our stay. Easy walk to downtown for ice cream and the farmer's market. The beds were comfortable, but the bunk beds are best left for the kids. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Loved the porches! Loved the kitchen! Loved that the living room had enough room for the 5 of us to sit together.

Good but not great

To clarify, this is not a 2-bathroom house; it’s 1 ½. Shower upstairs, none downstairs. Great location. Good kitchen appliances. Great TV. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year so far. It has window a/c units in all bedrooms and living room, which is ok if you’re willing to listen to a window a/c unit running constantly as upstairs was very warm. Living rooms are comfortably furnished. Beds are comfortable and bedding and towels are plush. Shower is well stocked with soaps and shampoos. Water pressure is good. Spacious parking and back yard and secure bike storage. As mentioned in a previous review, the house smelled musty. No property instructions, like we find at most rentals. Would be a great crash pad for bike riders.

Excellent accommodations

We were up in Rogers for a concert and needed a place to crash after the show. We showed up to a nice clean house with plenty of space for my three friends and I. I appreciated having coffee in the morning and a shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. The beds were comfortable. The water was hot for the shower and we are glad we chose this place to stay. Great job, Host.
