Our experience was absolutely wonderful! The host was amazing, and the house was fabulous in every way. Five stars across the board! The views were breathtaking, the decor was beautiful, and everything was thoughtfully appointed. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the living room was warm and inviting. Both decks were absolutely stunning and provided the perfect setting to relax and take in the views. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend! Think relax!

Everything was wonderful! Soon after booking, Mariusz sent us lots of great information about things to see and do, restaurants, etc. The pictures are great, but the house and the views are even more stunning than the pictures! We felt very welcomed upon arrival. There were a couple of very nice welcome surprises for us and Carlos was very helpful in showing us around the house. We would absolutely stay there again!

Loved our stay. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Communication with the property were easy and very helpful planning our trip. Everything you need is here and they’ve thought of everything. Check-in was easy and they went out of their way to make our trip special. Will be staying here and again and highly recommend.

Our stay at this villa was spectacular! From the beginning, the owner was quick to respond to my inquiries and provided helpful information about the area. Check-in and check-out were very easy.Everything about the home was thoughtfully designed, and the decor is beautiful. The upper and lower patios were highlights, with comfortable furniture, gorgeous plants, and wonderful views of Vila Franca Island, the beach, and surfers on the water. We loved watching sunrises, sunsets, and even a few rainbows from the patios.The kitchen and dining area were spacious and perfect for our group of six. The kitchen was very well equipped, with plenty of glassware and two nice coffee makers. We especially enjoyed gathering around the beautiful dining table, where all six of us could sit comfortably. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.The location is terrific. A tiny market is just a few doors down, and several good restaurants and the marina are within a few blocks. Whale-watching tours, kayaking trips, and ferries to the island are all nearby.Some of us had visited São Miguel before and stayed in Lagoa, but we much preferred Vila Franca do Campo. We have stayed in a dozen or more villas in different countries, and this one is, without a doubt, our favorite so far.We would happily return and highly recommend this beautiful villa to anyone visiting São Miguel!

This was the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. It’s that simple. First, the host sent me a long list of suggested sights and restaurants in both Vila Franca do Campo and São Miguel before we had even left home. This list was very handy and I used it throughout our trip. She was also very responsive throughout our stay and gave us useful advice on getting ferry tickets to the islet. We had no trouble checking in and were able to check in quite early so we could go to a whale watching excursion (the marina is very nearby). The renovations to the space are lovely and homey - I would live there in a heartbeat. The view is every bit as good as it looks in the photos; my husband and I had a lovely evening relaxing on the large balcony off our room as the sun set. The washer/dryer and clothesline worked well for us. We did spend more than we usually do for this home, but it was absolutely worth it. I would love to stay there again.

We received a lovely, detailed email about recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area before we arrived. They allowed us to check in early, which was amazing, as we had an 8:30 am plane arrival - the refresh was golden! The property itself is beautifully decorated. It has amazing balconies overlooking the water. I would recommend this property and would stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality!A family of 5 including 3 adult kids

Mariusz could not have been a better host. She communicated quickly when I had a question and offered many suggestions of things to do on the island. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The property manager was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again!

The house was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and inviting. The view if the ocean was beautiful.A couple of wonderful little resturants close by within walking distance. The very narrow streets were new for us, but it added the the experience!The host was very accommodating and responsive to questions both before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend a stay at this home.

Lovely sea view from a relaxing balcony and house in a quiet area within easy reach of shops and restaurants.Parking a short walk away and always available.Our host responded very quickly to any questions and this was backed up by his number 2 (Carlos) who lived across the road

This house is amazing! The interior design is coastal and so perfect. The views of the back porches are ideal. Highly recommend this place. We stayed 2 nights and wish it was the whole vacation. The host welcomed us very nicely!

Marco was a truly exceptional host, warm and attentive, with a wealth of fantastic recommendations that made our stay unforgettable. The house itself was even lovelier than the photographs suggested—bright, airy, and perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the ocean. Each morning, we lingered over coffee as the waves shimmered in the sunlight, and each evening we savored a glass of wine while watching the sky melt into shades of pink and gold.Within just a few minutes’ walk, we found an abundance of excellent restaurants serving fresh, local flavors. Snorkeling, diving, and kayaking were all conveniently nearby, making it easy to fill our days with adventure. The community’s warmth made us feel instantly at home, and the charming local market just a block away—brimming with fresh produce, cheeses, and baked goods—is not to be missed. Vila Franca do Campo was everything we hoped for and more.

Wonderful home with incredible views

Five of us stayed in the home for five nights. The home is located in Vila Franca do Campo which we much preferred to the larger and more crowded Ponta Delgada. The two balconies provided outstanding views of the island just off the coast. Check-in was seamless as Carlos was waiting for us. Highly recommend it and we were sad to have to leave.

Picture perfect vacation

Walking into this property was like walking into a picture. The property and views are just as described. The house was clean and very inviting. The attention to detail shows in the warm feeling you get when you walk in. The host was helpful in every way. My family and I really loved staying at this property.

Wonderful Stay on Sao Miguel

Just spent 10 wonder days in Sao Miguel in this beautiful home with a view. My 3 friends and I started and ended our days enjoying the view from our balcony. Home was just as beautiful as it appears on the site. Beautifully decorated, cozy beds, all The amenities and lots of room for the 4 of us. Great location, lots of restaurants nearby, grocery stores and a wonderful bakery as well. Well located on the island. Mariusz was a wonderful host, very accommodating of our schedule and provided us with restaurant recommendations, shopping tips, and things to see. Carlos and Sabrina , the caretakers, were wonderful and helped us whenever we had questions. We really enjoyed our stay and are already talking about coming back.
