The unit needs a deep cleaning. The bedding in the master suite was dirty. The bed spread was dirty on both sides . The 2 rooms on street side had a major ant problem. My grown daughter, grown son and my grandson got bit by ants while sleeping. My son woke up with them on his pillow and in his hair. We have stayed at Ocean Vista many times and never encountered these type of problems. Unfortunately feeling bad does not make the problem better.

We take guest feedback very seriously and always strive to provide the best possible experience. Whenever concerns are raised, we make every effort to address them promptly and professionally. This is the first time hearing the unit was not up to our high standard of cleanliness. We are committed to resolve any cleanliness concerns immediately and will arrange our staff to address any issues reported by guests. Future guests will like to know we perform unit deep cleaning twice a year (fall/spring) in addition to check-out cleans and dusting prior to hosting stays. However, our staff are available to perform any additional cleaning if guests express a concern. The management company arranges for quarterly pest treatment for the entire building. This is the first occurrence of ants in the unit. We understand the issue caused disruption and we apologize that it impacted your family stay. We would like to note our staff offered protection repellent and sprayed the location later that day and professional pest control arrived within 24 hours. Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback and we hope you give us another chance to host you.

We have stayed at Ocean Vistas several times and are never disappointed. This unit is very spacious and is easily accessed from the parking garage to elevator which opens directly into the condo entrance. If you like large balconies with beachfront views this is for you. It actually has two; one beachfront for beautiful sunrises and one on the intercoastal side for beautiful sunsets. Our check in was very easy and our host, Anna was very accommodating. We would definitely choose this condo again!

Friends and Family trip

Enjoyed our stay. Large condo with a lot space for everyone. Easy beach access. Private parking garage with assigned parking spaces. I only have two reasons for the 4/5 stars. Reason #1 : key fobs. You only get 3 fobs for the whole unit. We had 8 in our group with everyone being old enough to move around by themselves. 8 people and 3 fobs caused issues during the week. You have to walk someone out or in that didn't have a fob. Spoke with others in the condo and they spoke of the same problem. If you don't have a fob, then you have someone come get you or wait for another condo guest to pass thru and let you in. The 2nd option obviously defeats the security purpose of the fob. I feel like utilizing a card system like hotels would better. Cards are easy to program and cheap to replace if lost. 2nd reason is due to two pocket doors in our condo were difficult to close. One pocket door for a toliet was nearly impossible to close/open. They need to be fixed. I know pocket doors replacement is an issue since the whole assembly and the wall they are contained in have to be removed, but the two in our condo need to go. Other than that, great place to stay.

Thanks for your feedback. Future guests will want to know it is typical at Ocean Vistas to receive 1 building fob per bedroom as a security measure since this is a condominium building, not a hotel. However, our unit front doors have pin code entry for your convenience.

Top notch property

Ths property is beautiful and spacious. The older adults spent a lot of time on the large ocean side balcony enjoying the sunrises and dolphin sightings. The sunsets on the river side were amazing. The younger adults and kids spent a lot of time at the beach and pool. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The owners were very responsive to our questions prior to and after booking, property manager was fantastic. We did not arrive until after midnight and when she met us at the property, she was upbeat and full of energy, giving us a tour of the property and condo. While we didnt have issues at the condo, she was very responsive when asked for recommendations for local shopping, etc. Should i return to Daytona, i will definitely look for this property first.

This was a great condo with lots of room and views to enjoy. The only things we would recommend are a good deep clean and a few electronic updates. Other than that it was awesome!

Sarah, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Dylan called me yesterday about the smaller cable boxes. He actually went out to Spectrum, our cable TV provider, and replaced them yesterday. I wish you had let us know while you were here, we would have had them changed out that day. Unfortunatly, Spectrum is randomly shutting off some cable boxes, requiring their replacement. I'll pass along your cleaning comments, our teams work very hard but may have missed something. Regards, Dennis

Great place for larger group

There were 3 families (9 of us total) and we had plenty of space. This has been one of the better places we have stayed. Very safe, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the host was great. We couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Spacious and beautiful location

Condo is very spacious with an amazing view. Loved the private entrance and heated pool. Everything was comfortable perfect for what we needed for the week. I would definitely return! The only recommendation I have is to have cleaning supplies such as counter top and dish soap/ trash bags/ paper towels. It needs a deep clean behind beds and tables and fake plants are full of dust.

Thanksgiving getaway

My husband and I brought my parents to stay for Thanksgiving week. We throughly enjoyed our visit. My mother especially loved having her morning coffee on the beach side patio, while watching to sun rise, and my husband and I enjoyed our evening wine on our private balcony while waiting the sun set over the Halifax River!! The best of both worlds! Thank you for sharing such a lovely condo with amazing views!! Karen and Craig

11th floor unobstructed beach fun

6 couples in 3 bedrooms. Had to draw straws because while 2 ensuite bedrooms with a porch to the west are very nice the east facing master is huge and luxurious. Kitchen is sufficiently stocked and spacious. The elevator leads to a private entry. Things like garbage are close. The beach is accessed through a secure gate. It is fun to watch folks on the beach from the large balcony and use the outdoor table for dining. This is our 2nd stay.

Ocean getaway

Beautifully appointed, spacious condo on the top floor - we watched the sunrise over the ocean with our coffee on one balcony in the morning and set over the river in the evening from the other balcony. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to stay there again but this time with friends as there is plenty of space. Not far from great restaurants too although the kitchen is large and well appointed.
