5 women had a girl's weekend to attend the big Cranberry Fest in Stone Lake. Had a wonderful time. Jigsaw puzzle, nightly bonfire, wine and sunrise (for the early risers). Cabin and sleeping arrangement was perfect. Host responded quickly to pretrip questions and cabin was exactly as advertised. Highest marks for entire experience. Only suggestion, more kindling with the large firewood pile.

Overall, our stay at Lipsett Lake was an unforgettable experience with our family, friend, and 2 pets. The entire cabin was clean, warm, and very comfortable (with plenty of refresh items if needed). The picturesque sunrises, watching the eagles flying over the lake, and sharing in an enjoyable morning breakfast together on the deck ( over looking the lake) were highlights; along with an outdoor bean bag throw and canoeing. Our host was very accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and lake. The cabin was very clean, lots of plates and utensils plus measuring cups , bowls and spoons which we did use! Beds were comfortable and plenty of extra blankets. The lake is clean and was relaxing to watch the sunrise and sets, listening to the loons and eagles. My only suggestion is bring extra bath towels. My family would book it again.

This cabin is perfect for the quintessential summer weekend getaway. The cabin decor is everything you'd want or expect in a lakeside cabin. The view from the big picture window and deck is fantastic.My only complaint (minor) is lack of storage space - there wasn't a single cupboard where we could store our groceries/dry goods. And there weren't any drawers where we could unpack our luggage. There appears to be enough space but it's filled with lots of extras and overflow that I think could be consolidated to provide room for guests. That said - we wanted for nothing when it came to lotions, cleaners, towels, etc.If you're bringing a boat - ask if the owner's pontoon could be parked on the other side of the dock. That would have made it a lot easier for us to maneuever/tie off the boat we brought. It was tight getting it in behind the jet ski.Lastly - bring a bag of ice for drinks as it's well water and the ice cube maker in the freezer doesn't seem to be active.

We try to use the limited cabinet and drawer space in the best way possible, but will definitely look into adding some storage space for guests wherever possible. I agree that bringing some ice and water is a good idea if you’re not a fan of well water (it’s definitely an acquired taste). We didn’t connect the ice maker for that reason. Thank-you for the feedback. We appreciate it and will continue to make improvements wherever possible. We hope you’ll be back again to stay at our cabin again soon.

Very clean cabin, easy to get to, Great Lake with nice neighbors, wonderful amenities. Only downfall is no dishwasher but that’s no big deal! Hope to be back someday!

Awesome time

This cabin truly has it all and is an absolute gem. The space is cozy and inviting with excellent furnishings and fun for all--from games, water activities and the huge firepit for campfires. We really enjoyed the deck, especially the comfy reclining chairs for reading a good book or watching the sunrise while drinking coffee. There is a fair amount to do in the area; we made frequent trips into Spooner/the surrounding towns for activities, but you could easily spend the entire time at the cabin with all there is to offer. The host thought of everything you could possibly need and was very responsive. We had a great trip and would love to return someday!

Fabulous!

We stayed 3 nights with our 3 young adult children, and family pooches, to catch up, relax, and celebrate Father’s Day and a birthday. We enjoyed the lake; swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing, with so many great water toys provided. We loved the deck; birdwatching, coffee and sunrises, the beautiful view from the comfy chairs, games and even time for a li’l creativity. We LOVED the cabin’s style and decorating, and how amazingly well stocked the cabin is. It was a perfect getaway for us. The beds are comfy and the air conditioning was great for this super hot weekend. We enjoyed the shops and a couple of restaurants in downtown Spooner as well. If it had been cooler out, we would have definitely made use of the great bonfire area, and yard games. We all agreed we would love to go back, and wished we had booked at least one more night.

The cabin on Lipsett Lake had everything our family needed for a fun, relaxing time outside in nature and inside the cabin. There were plenty of games, books, puzzles, music, and top notch amenities to make it comfortable and enjoyable inside. Because of the great weather, most of our time was spent on the lake or outside having a bean bag throw competition. The evening was spent outside with a campfire making s’mores. Overall, a wonderful experience for the whole family!

Winter stay on Lipsett Lake

Chose this property for an annual ice fishing trip with a group of friends. Nice location convenient to several lakes (in addition to Lipsett) and places to go for a drink/food. Cabin was clean and had plenty of space for our group of 8. The check-in/out process was very easy and the host responded quickly to any questions. Looks like there would be a lot to do at the property during a summer trip as well!

Cozy cabin on Lipsett

We had our family (7 adults, one infant, and our dog) for three nights. It was a cozy stay with room for eveyone. The description and pictures are spot on.

The perfect family cabin getaway!

The owners truly thought of everything with this place! We have stayed at many cabins, but never one with so many helpful things, comfortable furnishings, and well cared for surroundings. The beds were new and comfortable, plenty of space for everyone. Plenty of room to park multiple vehicles, and the neighbors kept to themselves so it felt very quiet and secluded. The owner was responsive and accommodating. We loved being able to bring our dog with us. Because there are neighbors, we brought a tie-out so she wouldn't stray out of the yard. The outdoor fire pit was a huge highlight of the trip. It came with plenty of nice, dry firewood and comfortable Adirondacks. We spent every night out there enjoying the moonlight over the lake. Absolutely magical! The lake was quiet and we only saw a few boats on the weekend. We caught two largemouth bass that were good sized and one decent northern pike. It was mid October so the fishing wasn't great, but we had an amazing time on the kayak and canoe. The basement was so cozy and perfect for our family. The fireplace/thermostat setup was perfect so we could fall asleep by the fire without having to worry about it running all night (you are able to set a temperature and it turns on and off accordingly!). There is also a Sonos sound system throughout the cabin for music lovers. My teenage boys loved playing darts, and there was a huge selection of board/card games. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to be back!
