We just returned from our usual 2-week stay for the 3rd year. We had an enjoyable time with family & friends despite more rain than in past years. Besides utilizing the lake, this house is in a great location to access the outlet mall, variety of restaurants (Barley Creek Brewing, Jubilee, Murphy’s Loft), zip-lining, alpine sleds (Camelback Mtn) and hiking (Shades of Death trail). The road in front of the house, as well as the surrounding roads, are quiet & are great for walking and walking our dogs. The house is well maintained and beautifully decorated with a well-appointed kitchen if you want to cook your meals at home. We bring puzzles to complete on the front porch table—perfect place to enjoy the scenery as well, not to mention a bit of people watching as they walk to/from the nearby restaurants. Each bedroom is comfortable, each has AC & a TV. The Wi-Fi is strong enough for my husband to work from the house (Teams meetings). Our stay had some issues that were out of Heather’s control—a week without AC in the bedrooms (brand new units!) and the internet going out for a good portion of a day (after storms). Although the weather was cool, the upstairs bedrooms become stuffy—especially at night if you close bedroom doors—no cross breeze. They did offer window units--we declined. Heather was VERY responsive & respectful of our time to get the repairmen out for the AC. Her great communication was very much appreciated! We are looking forward to next year!
