Family friendly

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at anchorage II , the location is awesome. The unit we had this year was exactly what our family needed for a 2week stay. Our one and only concern was the fragrance we encountered when first entered the unit was very overwhelming and caused a few of us respiratory issues at first . The fragrance is not necessary. We did need to call maintenance about a coffee table issue they were prompt and efficient. Thank you for a great vacation. We will see you next year

Best friends

We stayed over Memorial weekend! We arrived on Wednesday and extended our stay until Tuesday. The view from the master bedroom is the best!!! It was wonderful to wake up and see the ocean. I also had my 2 year old granddaughter with us and it was a perfect family location.

A flawless experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying at the Anchorage is always just like coming home! The rooms are always so clean and comfortable, the grounds are well kept, and it's my absolute favorite vacation spot. The beautiful ocean views and easy beach access is simply perfect. Carson helped me with check ins and reservations and was so kind and helpful. This past visit was my first beach vacation with my new husband (we got married about a year ago) and we both had a terrific time. I grew up staying at the Anchorage I/II every year since I was a baby and it's the home of some of my favorite memories. Thank you for always making it so special every time!!

review of Unit AII, B-212

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we had no issues that stopped us in our tracks of enjoying the stay, we were disappointed that the unit itself had not changed much/been improved since our stay in 2016. We noted 2 maintenance issues and that was looked into right away, although couldn't be fixed at that time. Total KUDOS to Lisa and Karin though for working with us to book our next visit!

Excellent communication with manager!

We had an issue with the microwave in the condo. The property manager was quick to respond and very promptly sent someone out to resolve the issue. The property was perfect for our family trip and we will definitely stay there again! Thank you for a great experience!

Old and dirty and very inconsiderate

Call the property manager to tell them we had a terrible experience with the upstairs condo above us , a 3 year old that ran across the floor early morning and evenings ! We where out most of the days! My husband ask the wife kindly if she could keep the running down to a minimum! But that creates the husband coming out to threaten a guess who he mistook as my husband! The running got worse as the week got on, we left and came home two days early! Never again at the Anchor 2 the manager did not one thing other than sorry! Sign by the elevator clearly be responsible to the floors underneath you!

Paul I am so sorry you were disturbed by a toddler staying in the unit above your condo. We did in fact contact the guest to let them know the building is not sound proof and to please be considerate later in the evening and early in the morning as we have guest below that are being disturbed. I'm very sorry that they were not able to control their toddler but we did try to help the situtation. I would suggest staying on the third level to avoid this happening in the future. Overall Very Nice Property

Our only issue was upon arrival there was a dead roach in the children's bedroom. Then our daughters went to their bathroom to get toilet paper to clean it up, and the entire roll of toilet paper was moldy. This started off the trip on a negative note, and they were concerned about sleeping in the beds. The unit is very spacious and has direct beach access. It was a nice place.

Anchorage II a unit B-12

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 212 was pretty nice. The walk to the beach was short, no longer than a hotel on the beach's walk. The beach was very nice, plenty of room, the private entrance with rinse off station is very convenient Grounds were kept up with and the pool was clean. Could use some upgrades, furniture starting to show its age, but still our stay was awesome

The property is old and worn out. It needs a refresh. People were in the pool until midnight

The property is very in need of an update. The most annoying thing and the cheapest was the "one toilet paper per bathroom, one garbage bag and one roll of paper towels. Its an annoyance to have to go and buy these items since every other rental supplies them. The throw pillows on the couch were so old they were flay and smelled of dirty heads. I would not come here again.

Diana, Thank you for your review. We had sent you your check in information which included the information about the ammenitiy package being a starter supply for the condo. This is very common proceedure with condominiums that don't provide daily maid service and one way to keep cost down for our guest. We manage 55 properties at the Anchorage I & II and have a wide variety of decor and upgrades to offer our guest perhaps a different condo would have suited your taste a bit more. Anchorage Rentals

Good stay for the price

This was a really nice property for the price we paid! The beach was a quick walk across the street (and it was rarely busy even on Memorial Day weekend), the pool was clean and usually quiet, and it was a quick drive to everywhere in Myrtle beach! The only complaint we had was we wish it could have been a little more cleanly upon our arrival. A few of the dishes seemed like they hadn’t been washed and the guest bathtub was quite dirty. Aside from this, which was pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, this was a great place to stay!

Great place

It was a decent place to stay, close to the beach and not crowded. Was looking for a safe place during covid with not a lot of traffics. Three flights of stairs was empty pretty much all the time. Didn’t take the elevator. The place was comfy and spacious for the 6 of us. Beware, loft upstairs has no wall or bathroom. Not ideal for adults but good for kids. It worked for us!

Excellent stay!

This was our first time booking a condo and not a hotel. I was quite concerned for the safety of my family given COVID. However, our experiment was great.! We stayed at Anchorage II which was right across the beach. The apartment was impeccable. It was clean beyond I had imagined. Towels, linens all very clean. The owner had everything in the house from small utensils to grinders, hot pots, oven accessories, and everything you could possibly need. My toddler was thrilled about beach toys, beach umbrella (so thoughtful of the owner), books and puzzles that they left us. Parking was easy. Owner was easy to get in touch with. We literally booked the night before traveling. Check in was easy. Great location. Private beach access for guests only!! So social distancing was very doable. Overall great experience and would recommend to a friend!
