This beautiful condo sits on the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Welcome to our home on Fort Myers Beach, Florida. This well- equipped comfy condo got nothing but 5-star ratings before Ian came ashore. We took advantage of the rebuilding timeframe to carefully update it and make it even better.
This 2 bedroom (master king, guest twins) 2 bath (master shower, guest tub and shower) can be yours to enjoy. The kitchen has a new bigger French door refrigerator with an extra ice reservoir. Granite countertops, quality multi-featured cabinets are well-stocked for cooking if you choose to eat in.
The sixth floor location gives you an incredible view from the lanai. You’re treated to an over-the-palms panorama which includes the few remaining signs of the original pier from days long gone by. The first hotel on the barrier island was built here. Best place to view the glorious sunsets.
With over 300 feet of arguably the nicest sugar sand section of Fort Myers beach, some like to enjoy the Caper Beach Club’s beachside heated pool while others pick a spot in on the sand to read. The new landscaping is beautiful, and fortunately many of the glorious mature palm trees still grace the grounds.
There is a modern, complete library just across the street. In season a free tram runs from the library to the northernmost point of the island, Bowditch Park and back. The patient can see a gopher tortoise or two, catch the dolphins heading into the back bay for the evening; all will see abundant bird life and a stream of boats in the channel. Trolley stop is right in front of Caper with a broader range.
Come, relax and take pleasure in walking the miles of sandy beach. Sunshine, restaurants, parasailing, water sports, fishing and shopping and plenty of people watching are readily available. Times Square is a fun spot all day and well into the evening. It and Margaritaville are a short walk (about a mile) north from the condo.
A Publix grocery store is located mid-island (south). We have a helpful onsite office open during the day, tennis/pickleball court and a beautiful community room. Parking is free but you need a pass (will be with keys in your check in package). Whether you are coming to Fort Myers Beach for the first time or the 30th, you will not be disappointed.
