We just wrapped up three wonderful weeks at Thomas and Gabriella's home on Marco Island in August, and we can't thank them enough for such a great stay.The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped — everything matched the listing exactly, right down to the details. No surprises, no disappointments, just exactly what we were hoping for.The location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. One of the real highlights for us was the dock: I fished right off it almost every day and caught a great variety of fish — snapper, porgies, pinfish, mojarras, porkfish, spadefish, and even a bonnethead shark. One evening a big bottlenose dolphin came in and hunted right under our dock for several minutes. Watching it work the water that close was something we won't forget.Thomas deserves a special mention. He is incredibly helpful and remarkably responsive — every question or request during our stay was answered quickly and with genuine care. That kind of attentiveness makes all the difference when you're staying somewhere for several weeks.As for Marco Island itself, it's hard to beat. The beaches are wide, soft, and shell-covered — perfect for morning walks and shelling. Sunsets over the Gulf are spectacular every single evening. Evening bike rides around the island are a real pleasure too — quiet streets, warm air, and beautiful light. There's great local seafood, easy boating and kayaking through the Ten Thousand Islands, and plenty of dolphin and manatee sightings if you k
