We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captain’s Cabin! The location and price was great for our family of 4. When we go in larger groups, it’s more affordable to get as close to the water as we were in this property. It was really nice to have an option we could afford at a great location. Beach access was right across the road, so it was a super short walk. The house was an adequate size for the four of us for a week. One bathroom took a little adjusting to, but was fine. The kitchen didn’t have much storage for groceries, but the dining room table is huge, so we put our dry goods on the back half of it for the week. The outdoor shower was nicely designed and the hose on the upper deck was a nice touch and helped with keeping the sand down inside the house. The WiFi was hit or miss at best, but we are there to disconnect anyway, so it wasn’t a big deal. But, it struggled to even run the one tv of an evening as we were winding the kids down before bed. If I’d known that ahead of time, I would’ve packed a couple things to keep them busy after dinner, but like I said it really wasn’t a big deal to us. We would definitely come back to the property! Thank you!
