Regarding the temperature, we provide clear instructions to guests on how to adjust the **Google Nest thermostat**, and we have not experienced an AC issue with previous guests. We regret that you experienced difficulty with the temperature during your stay and would have been happy to address it immediately had we been notified. We also take cleanliness and linen quality very seriously. We use a **professional cleaning team**, and all sheets, comforters, towels, and other linens are thoroughly washed and prepared for every new guest. As part of our quality-control process, our cleaning activities are documented and recorded in **Turno**. We have not previously received a complaint regarding odors from the bedding, but we will certainly follow up with our cleaning team. As stated in the property information, the refrigerator does not provide ice or filtered water, and we try to make this clear to guests before arrival so they can plan accordingly. We are sorry that you were uncomfortable with the behavior or noise of neighboring residents. In case there are loud noice after the quiet hours, you can certainly contact us or just call 911. This is residential property and Mecklenburg noise ordinance should be enforced strictly. This reservation was originally booked for **2 adults**, but our records indicate that **more than 4 people ultimately stayed at the property**. The guests stayed only one night. The morning after checkout, the guest sent us three photos showing concerns about the property. Because we could not determine when those photos were taken, I immediately apologized and assured the guest that I would investigate the matter thoroughly with our cleaning team. We hold our cleaners to a very high standard, pay above the industry average for professional cleaning, and expect every turnover to meet those standards. As soon as I received the message, I personally went to the property and met with the cleaning team to inspect everything. We did observe the hair shown in the bathroom photo. However, when I turned on the shower, the hair immediately washed into the drain. This indicates that the photo was most likely taken after the shower had already been used rather than at check-in. I explained this observation to the guest. The guest then stated that they had not used the shower. However, there were several used bath towels on the bathroom floor, which did not appear consistent with that statement. During VRBO's review of the matter, the guest was asked to provide timestamped photos demonstrating that these conditions existed at the time of check-in. To my knowledge, no such evidence was provided. Instead, the request remained focused on obtaining a refund. Regarding the bugs shown on the windowsill, the house had been vacant for more than a week before this reservation, and a professional pest-control treatment had been completed approximately one week earlier. Occasionally, after treatment, insects may enter and die near windows. While we work hard to maintain the property and perform regular pest control to provide a comfortable environment, no residential home can be guaranteed to be completely free of the occasional insect. We also thoroughly clean the refrigerator after every stay and were unable to verify the concern raised about its condition. We always take cleanliness seriously and investigate every concern immediately. When there is evidence that something fell short of our standards, we address it with our cleaning team without hesitation. At the same time, we believe reviews should accurately reflect the facts.
