I cannot say enough about this property. Every picture is accurate all descriptions are accurate and it exceeded all of our expectations.Donna was wonderful with her communication and immediate in responsiveness.This is a beautiful home away from home in a great little town, and I highly recommend you enjoying your time in Sapphire at The Mountain House!Thank you, Donna!

One of the best experiences we have had. Host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. This house offers literally everything you could possibly need or want when visiting the mountains. It is quite large and can very comfortably accommodate a large group. Highly recommend!!!

This is our fourth year staying at this property, and it does not disappoint. It has also continued to accommodate our growing family. We love staying here because it is always reliable comfortable and the best place to relax on a family vacation.

First, the Host was extremely helpful - excellent communication and follow up. The home it self was perfect for the 10 (3 families) of us - each family had their own floor. The Furniture and beds were all in very good condition. The kitchen has all what we needed to cook meals for 10, including the gas grill.The location is perfect, close to many activities - sliding rick, waterfalls, grocery, Highlands, etc. The house sits in a very quiet area, beautiful trees and a great fire pit! The kids enjoyed the fires and the s'mores! Yard was big enough for the kids to play games. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the house.There is already discussion on when we are going back! If interested in this area, our suggestion is to book this home!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain House. It was just perfect for our family! Donna was especially helpful and quick to respond. We liked it so much, we tried to book another stay for a week this summer but it was not available. Great house! We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at the Mountain House, and this time we were lucky enough to stay for two full weeks. We enjoyed every minute. Most of our days were spent curled up on the two big sofas that flank the fireplace, reading, relaxing, and visiting with friends who joined us for a few days. We kept a crackling fire going and couldn’t have been more content. We rarely turned on the TV! Communication with the owner was excellent, and the house was clean, comfortable, and so easy to settle into. It truly feels like a home in the mountains, not just a rental. Grateful for the time we spent there!

We had a great stay. The house was beautiful, just as described. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and exploring the area. Donna, our host, communicated well and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. I recommend this house, especially for large groups.

Family memories

The house was perfect! There was plenty of space for our grandkids, kids and us. There was lots of games and things for the kids to do at the house. My grandkids even found a badminton set and played. My 13-year-old loved it so much he bought one and had it sent home before we left.There was a lot of activities in sapphire valley and lots of restaurants close by. Able to enjoy the fireworks on our first night right down street from the house.We also enjoyed fishing on Fairfield Lake and boating on Lake Glenville. The golfers were able to get a couple of rounds of golf in.So many great hikes beautiful waterfalls, creeks and rivers.Even blessed to see Eagle’s nest and a bear.So many memories made and stories to tell for years!

THE BEST VRBO YOU COULD EVER FIND

I cannot say enough about the "appointments" of the Mountain House .. it was beautifully casual, had a perfectly organized and accessorized kitchen (with plenty of matching plates, cups and saucers) and a perfect layout of bedrooms and bathrooms. Nine of us (which included a three year old ) fit perfectly around the table inside and on the porch. The screened in porch was a delightful spot to spend time just catching up with memories, complete with an incredible hammock. We had ping pong tournaments downstairs, and the whole "crew" even had room for a YOGA session, thanks to "You Tube" on the TV. (our photo of that is priceless with the men participating. Of course we had s'mores around the fire pit, and more laughs. The swimming pool and miniature golf tournament added to the fun. .. In short, our short time together of four days was delightful. I can't thank Donna, our hostess, enough for her communications before our arrival. The information was more than thorough. ENJOY!

This property fit our family of 7 adults and 3 children perfectly during our 7 day stay. Most nights we would prepare our dinner in the extremely well stocked kitchen and dine either on the outside deck or at the lovely dining room table. And you are very close to so many activities like swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, golfing, hiking and swimming pools. This mountain house had everything we liked, including heated floors in the bathrooms, How lovely is that?! Well found the house to be very clean and ready for us to check in as promised, The host couldn't have been more helpful as we were planning our itinerary and answering any question that we had, This is a great place to escape and reunite with family and friends, My golden retriever may have had the best time of anyone!!

Comfort and luxury in the mountains!

This was our second time staying at this property. We had 3 couples for 3 nights. There was ample room and room to spare! The house was well stocked with dishes, utensils, serving platters and table linens for pulling together meals. We enjoyed using the new induction cooktop! There were seasonings, olive oil, other non-perishables and plenty of ice. The living area was so comfortable and where we did most of our hanging out. The beds were super comfy and we enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom! We were a 10 min drive to Cashiers and a 25 min drive to Highlands. Plenty of great hikes are within a 15-30 min drive from the house. The host was super friendly and communicative. We would love to come back!!
