The house itself is impressive, beautifully designed and in a fantastic location. We loved the pool and lanai overlooking the spreader, and being able to dock a boat at the property gave us excellent access to the Gulf.Unfortunately, our two-week stay was badly affected by numerous maintenance issues. We arrived at 8:30pm to find the AC not working in around 70% of the house. Thankfully an engineer eventually attended at 10pm as it was extremely hot.The front door lock only worked a few times during our stay. The fire alarms also repeatedly sounded during the early hours, despite an engineer attending three times. We eventually stopped reporting it as too much of our holiday was being spent waiting in for engineers. One evening the lights also wouldn't switch off.Three days before leaving, the fridge and freezer switched temperatures, defrosting our frozen food and freezing everything in the fridge. All of our food was ruined and we also had to clean out the freezer which wasn’t pleasant.This was an expensive property chosen for a special family trip to celebrate our son's beach wedding, so the number of problems was very disappointing and tainted the experience.I would stay here again as the property itself is excellent, but only with reassurance that these maintenance issues had been properly resolved.
