What a great place! The host is super, and the house was better equipped than any VRBO where we have been-- basic food stuffs, tea and coffee, toiletries, really thick towels, and fun farmhouse decor. We had a great time hiking on mountain trails and the New River Trail as well as driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host is renovating the second bathroom right now (after we left today) so it will be even better in the future!

Very clean property! Plenty of communal space for the littles to play and the rooms were a good size for a pack and play or blow up toddler bed. The kitchen had all the tools and gadgets we needed to make a small family breakfast and the fridge was large enough to keep our birthday party food cold until it was time to take them out. Very good experience, would absolutely book this property again!

This was our second time staying here, everything was so easy and clean the first time we decided this was the perfect place to stay on our second visit and it did not disappoint. The location was easy to get to, the house was clean and the communication was perfect. We really liked how spacious it was for our family, the three bedrooms, two bathrooms and large kitchen with everything needed in a vacation rental and were the perfect size for our family of 4, we will certainly be staying there again on our next visit. Getting to and parking at the house was a breeze as it's location near the town of Galax and large parking area was perfect for us.

We have a catering business and had an event @ Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort down the road and this farmhouse was perfect. It was very cozy, felt "homey". Mrs Ruth, the host, was very nice and responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We would definitely stay again.
