I would strongly caution anyone considering this property.The unit was advertised and pictured as a waterfront apartment, which was a major reason I booked it. Upon arrival, I discovered it is not waterfront at all. Since my dispute with the host began, the listing has reportedly been renamed.The apartment is dark, poorly ventilated, and feels very claustrophobic. The master bedroom has no windows whatsoever. The second bedroom has what appears to be a fake window, and the third bedroom faces the back of another building. There is virtually no natural light or airflow throughout the unit. It was also extremely hot upon arrival, with only one air-conditioning unit in the living room serving the entire apartment.To make matters worse, there is major construction directly in front of the property, creating constant noise and dust. This construction is expected to continue until at least mid-2027, yet none of it was disclosed before booking.The host knew I was staying for post-surgery recovery, making the lack of disclosure particularly troubling. I booked for two weeks. During the first week, while hospitalized, I used the apartment only to store my belongings. After discharge, I immediately vacated the unit and returned it to the host because it was unsuitable for recovery.Despite the misleading listing and undisclosed construction, the host has refused to provide a reasonable partial refund. I have opened a case with VRBO to seek resolution.Terrible experience !!
