The Neighborhood:
Goose Valley is located on a golf estate with beautiful gardens, views of the Oean and direct access onto the Keurbooms River estuary, indigenous fynbos, and mountain backdrops. A beautiful restaurant and easy grocery deliveries ensure you need not leave the estate if you want. Venturing into town, we love the fact that Plettenberg Bay feels like a seaside village. In the area is Old Nick's Village with Mungo Mill, Lookout beach and Market Square shopping centre are very close-by. As are wine farms and animal sanctuaries a 10-20 minute drive away.

Situated in the sheltered Bahia Formosa, or 'beautiful bay' as early Portuguese explorers named it, with forests, mountains, meandering rivers and pristine beaches, there is a wealth of natural beauty to enjoy. All of this beauty is immediately evident when you arrive at this beautiful spot.

Getting Around:
Car rental is affordable and easy to arrange from the airport or locally. Taxis are available in main road. Most sights are within walking distance. Many love Plett for its surfing, wind sports, diving, walking the Blue Flag beach of Robberg, nature hikes like the Robberg Nature Reserve trail, whale and dolphin watching, kayaking up the Keurbooms river or explore the wine farms of the Crags.

Other Things to Note:
UPDATE July 2025 - NOV 2025 - a renovation project of a neighbouring apartment in the building - there may be noise disturbance during business hours on week days

Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.

Our patio awnings are only to be used when there is a light breeze. If the wind increases or you are going to leave the apartment, please wind the awning back and do not leave it extended as it will be damaged.

The frameless sliding doors are to be open and moved slowly and one panel at a time. Please use the stretch cord to secure them from banging in the wind when in the open position. Any questions, please ask before causing damage.
